WTA Eastbourne Round of 16 play starts on Wednesday. This is an important day for the players in Eastbourne. The winners will advance to the quarterfinals and thereby ensure they get three whole matches of play in this final week before Wimbledon. That would make this a good and productive week for them before they go to the All-England Club for the lawn tennis major championship of 2026. Losers of these matches might come to Wimbledon having not gotten as much experience or rhythm on grass as they probably would have liked. LWOS has our best bets for three matches. Bouzas Maneiro – Keys: 6:00 EST
H2H: 0-0
Madison Keys could be a dark horse for Wimbledon with the top players (Aryna Sabalenka, Elena Rybakina, Coco Gauff) struggling. She wants to gain momentum going into Wimbledon, and she can do that by making a deep run in the WTA Eastbourne tournament. She hopes to make the quarterfinals, and she will have to go through Jessica Bouzas Maneiro to get there. Keys and Bouzas Maneiro have both won three grass matches this season, so they have both shown they are capable of collecting multiple wins on the surface. Bouzas Maneiro is ranked just inside the top 50, while Keys is ranked just inside the top 30. Keys has top-10 talent but needs to show it more consistently, something which has been true for a large part of her career.
Best Bet to Make
The comparison between Bouzas Maneiro and Keys isn’t much of a comparison at all. Keys is, of course, the much better and more proven player. She has accomplished more. She has more talent. She has a big game which is rewarded on grass. Her main problem is that she hits the ball so hard that she doesn’t always focus on the ball and doesn’t hit it squarely. As long as she is just a little patient, she should be able to beat Bouzas Maneiro and other players ranked below her. Keys moneyline doesn’t carry much of a price, so you need to get to the set spread to find enough of a price worth betting on. Keys in straight sets is just over the threshold for a bet worth making.
That being said, betting on Keys winning 2:0 is a value bet for sure.

Maria – Zakharova: 6:00 EST
H2H: 0-0
Tatjana Maria made a big statement at the WTA Eastbourne tournament by beating No. 1 seed and former Wimbledon runner-up Jasmine Paolini in straight sets. It was a convincing victory for the German, who is a grass specialist and loves playing on this surface. The win over Paolini is Maria’s seventh grass win of 2026 against just three losses. She has played 10 grass matches this year compared to just four for her next opponent, Anastasia Zakharova. However, Zakharova is on a three-match winning streak after beating Yulia Starodubtseva in the first round. Zakharova was struggling earlier in the month but might be picking up form at just the right time. Maria, however, represents a tougher test for her.

Best Bet to Make
The simple fact that Tatjana Maria beat Jasmine Paolini very handily should make her the overwhelming favorite for this match. Zakharova has won a few matches in a row, but not against the quality of competition Maria has faced. Maria is very comfortable on grass, and the results prove it. It is very hard to find a betting angle that is pro-Zakharova or anti-Maria. The most obvious bet to make, and also a wager which carries a very good price with it, is Maria in straight sets. It’s the most logical bet you can choose among the options you have.
That being said, betting on Maria winning 2:0 is a value bet for sure.

Ostapenko – Udvardy: 7:30 EST
H2H: 1-0
Jelena Ostapenko didn’t play any grass matches in the two weeks before the WTA Eastbourne event. She really needs more match play before Wimbledon to get her grass game in order. She looked solid in her first-round win over Francesca Jones, but it’s going to take more than one match against a relatively unknown player for Ostapenko to feel better about her chances at Wimbledon. Panna Udvardy advanced to the next round of WTA Eastbourne when her opponent, Anna Bondar, retired, so that means Udvardy didn’t win a complete-length match. It will be interesting to see if Udvardy, not playing a full match, leaves her fresh or rusty for this encounter with Ostapenko. That could work in either direction.
Best Bet to Make
The reality surrounding Panna Udvardy is that, while she is officially credited with two grass matches this season for advancing past Bondar, she didn’t win a full-length match in that situation, so she really has only one full-length match win. It’s hard to trust Udvardy and think that she will push Ostapenko to three sets. Ostapenko is known for being inconsistent, and it is always a risk to take her to win in straight sets, but she did cash a straight-set bet in her previous round. Udvardy does not look like an opponent capable of taking advantage of any wobble or stumble Ostapenko might make.
That being said, betting on Ostapenko winning 2:0 is a value bet for sure.
