The fantasy football season is approaching the playoffs in a couple of weeks. It is time to make a playoff push and prepare for them. Some leagues have already hit their trade deadline, but for those that haven’t, here is the Buy Sell Report for Week 12 of the Fantasy Football Season.
Fantasy Football Buy/Sell Report for Week 12
Sell: Jared Goff
Goff lit up the scoreboard in Week 11, having his season-high in fantasy points with 34.58. He finished as the QB1, not including Taysom Hill for leagues that count him as a QB. He threw for 412 yards and four passing touchdowns. The Lions were pouring it on all day, on their way to 52 points. Before this game, Goff had four straight games under 20 fantasy points.
Additionally, the Lions have a tough stretch starting in Week 13. They play the Bears twice in addition to playing the Bills and the 49ers. There are a lot of tough defenses in this stretch, which will limit his scoring output.
Lions QB Jared Goff today:

158.3 passing ratingGoff is the first player in NFL history with 2 games of 400+ passing yards, 4+ passing TD and a perfect passer rating.

Sell: Jameis Winston
Winston has started three games for the Browns, throwing at least 40 times in each game and finishing as a top-10 fantasy quarterback twice. However, the Browns play the Steelers in two of the next three weeks. The Steelers just limited Lamar Jackson to his lowest fantasy total of the year. Additionally, the Browns play the Broncos and Chiefs upcoming as well. It has been a fun ride for fantasy managers who were streaming Winston, but it is time to sell high on him before his very difficult stretch.
Sell: D’Andre Swift
Swift has been great recently on the year, scoring at least 14 fantasy points in six of the last seven games while getting double-digit carries in every game. The Bears have a brutal run defense stretch in the next five weeks. They play each of the Vikings and the Lions twice, sandwiched between the 49ers defense. The Vikings and the Lions are two of the best-run defenses in the league, meaning the Bears will have to rely on Caleb Williams to pass his way to victory. Even though Swift has been solid, it is time to sell high on him.
Buy: T.J. Hockenson
Hockenson only saw three targets in the Week 11 victory for the Vikings, which they were leading for most of the game. Only Justin Jefferson and Jordan Addison had more targets than Hockenson. He is still getting back into the offense after missing the first eight weeks. The Vikings will need him to step up as they try to catch the Lions in the division. Buy low on Hockenson after his down game.
Buy: Deebo Samuel
Samuel has not had a great stretch recently, as he hasn’t topped 13 fantasy points since Week 6. He has at least six targets in each of his last three games, so he is being involved in the offense. Samuel is not getting enough yards or touchdowns, though. He only caught four for 22 yards in Week 11. The 49ers are 5-5 on the season. They need to get him involved in the offense if they want to start winning games to make a playoff push. Kyle Shanahan will find creative ways to get his dynamic playmaker the ball. Buy low on Samuel before he gets out of his drought.
Buy: Calvin Ridley
Ridley struggled last week, only catching four of six targets for 58 yards. This was the first time he had not received at least eight targets since Week 4. In the previous three weeks, he finished as a top-5 WR twice. Ridley has some great matchups upcoming including against the Jaguars twice. He has some other favorable matchups against the Commanders and the Bengals as well. Both Ridley’s target share and production will go up after this poor game, so try to trade for him.
