As a new week begins, it’s the perfect time to capitalize on favorable situations and make a smart trade. Here is the Buy Sell Report for Week 10 of the Fantasy Football Season.
Fantasy Football Buy / Sell Week 10
Buy Brian Thomas Jr.
Thomas Jr. played through an injury in Week 9, but he was only able to catch two of his four targets. This is his second straight week with only four targets due to his injury. However, he has a great upcoming schedule in the next two weeks. He’ll face the Vikings and Lions in the next two weeks, both of which rank in the top three for most fantasy points allowed to wide receivers this season. With favorable matchups ahead, Thomas is primed for a bounce-back, making him an ideal buy-low candidate.
Buy Kyren Williams
Williams had his worst game of the season, scoring only 10.5 fantasy points. He had 22 carries, but he was only able to accumulate 69 rushing yards. He added one catch for 26 yards. This is his second straight week without a rushing touchdown, after having at least one in his first six games of the season. However, he had 22 of the 23 running back carries for the Rams. The Rams do not seem to want to get the rookie Blake Corum involved in the offense. Williams also has a great schedule for running backs coming up. The next two weeks are against the Dolphins and the Patriots, both of whom are in the top ten for most fantasy points allowed to opposing running backs. He also has a favorable playoff schedule. It is time to buy Williams from concerned managers after his down game.
Sell James Conner
Conner had a good Week 9, rushing 18 times for 107 yards and adding 12 receiving yards on three catches. However, the Cardinals are gradually working in their other running backs, which could negatively impact Conner’s workload. Rookie Trey Benson had eight carries for 37 yards and a touchdown, and Emari Demarcado added four rushes for 59 yards and a touchdown. Given Conner’s injury history, Arizona might limit his touches as they push for a playoff spot, with Benson potentially stepping into a more prominent role. It may be a good time to sell high on Conner before his usage declines.
Sell Tony Pollard
Pollard had a big game in Week 9 with 28 carries for 128 rushing yards and three catches for 26 yards. He finished with 18.4 fantasy points, tied for his second-highest fantasy score of the year. However, he has two very tough matchups in the next two weeks against the Chargers and the Vikings. Additionally, with Tyjae Spears set to return, Pollard’s workload is likely to decrease, making it unlikely he’ll see 28 carries again this season. It is time to sell Pollard after his big game.
Sell Rhamondre Stevenson
Stevenson has posted two consecutive top-ten fantasy RB finishes, with over 22 points each time. However, his efficiency has been concerning, as he averaged only 2.44 and 1.6 yards per carry in these games, including a rough ten carries for 16 yards in Week 9. His fantasy day was saved by two touchdowns, with one being a last-second reception from Drake Maye. Notably, Maye’s increasing rushing attempts—eight last week—could limit Stevenson’s opportunities. Given Stevenson’s inefficiency, he may be due for some regression, making this a prime opportunity to sell high.
