Patriots vs Jets Prediction
NE Patriots 17, NY Jets 24
The 2-5 Jets are beginning to feel the pressure to capitalize on Rodgers’ relatively short contention window. While the defense has not been as dominate as it was in 2023, New York still have the defensive playmakers to sustain a postseason run. However, the offense has failed to sustain any real momentum.
The club ranks in the bottom-ten in total yards per game (307.0) and total points scored (128). Rodgers, now 40 years old, is coming off a major injury that cost him most of the 2023 season. He and his team will try to build positive momentum against a lastluster New England roster.
Speaking of New England, the Pats have changed significantly since the Jets blew them out by a score of 24-3 in Week 3. The Patriots have officially handed the reigns over to rookie quarterback Drake Maye. Thus far, he has been a tangible upgrade over veteran Jacoby Brissett.
Jets vs 49ers Best Bets
Breece Hall Over 100 Rushing Yards (+250)
Hall has received an increase in carries under Interm Head Coach Jeff Ulbrich. While he has only eclipsed the 100 rushing yard mark once this season (113 yards against Buffalo), he remains one of the most talented players in the NFL.
The fact that the Patriots are tied for the 21st-worst rush defense (allowing 136.1 per contest) will work heavily in Hall’s favor. The game script, which could include New York getting out to an early lead, will likely allow Hall contend for his season-high in rushing attempts.
Hunter Henry Over 50 Receiving Yards (+225)
Despite not having a true #1 receiver, Maye has built a sneaky solid rapport with veteran tight end Hunter Henry. Since taking over as the starter, the former UNC Tarheel superstar has made Henry his favorite target.
Henry’s only touchdown has come with Maye under center. He is also coming off one of his best contests of the season last week (eight catches for 92 yards. Henry is a reasonably safe bet to eclipse the 75 receiving yards mark (+750) and could even flirt with 100+ yards (+1650). Choose your level of risk and confidently bet the over on the Pats’ #1 pass catcher this week.
