As the NFL season gets closer, it’s time to look at another position group that has a lot of talent and one that dominates most of the fantasy attention. It’s time to rank the best wide receivers in fantasy football for 2024.
Note: This list is not definitive, and players within tiers can move around. Players on the borderline between tiers can also be interchangeable.
Drew’s Fantasy Football Wide Receiver Rankings 2024
Wide Receivers 1-10
1. Tyreek Hill
2. CeeDee Lamb
3. Amon-Ra St. Brown
4. Justin Jefferson
5. Ja’Marr Chase
6. A.J. Brown
7. Garrett Wilson
8. Puka Nacua
9. Davante Adams
10. Marvin Harrison Jr.
You might be asking why Tyreek Hill is above CeeDee Lamb or why Amon-Ra St. Brown and Justin Jefferson are ahead of Ja’Marr Chase. The answer is certainty. Hill, St. Brown and Jefferson are going to take the field in their respective Week 1 matchups. Lamb and Chase are just getting back into football mode, so their ramp-up period will be condensed. Marvin Harrison Jr. being in the Top 10 is something people will either love or hate, but his talent is too much to ignore.
We have never seen a non RB Rookie selected in the 1st Round of Fantasy Drafts, but Marvin Harrison Jr. is going to be making frequent appearances at the 1-2 turn for the rest of the summer.

Wide Receivers 11-20
11. Michael Pittman Jr.
12. Mike Evans
13. Chris Olave
14. Deebo Samuel
15. Drake London
16. D.K. Metcalf
17. DeVonta Smith
18. Nico Collins
19. Brandon Aiyuk
20. Malik Nabers
This second tier of wide receivers still has some WR1 talents in like Deebo Samuel or Mike Evans. It then goes into some of the higher-end WR2 choices like DeVonta Smith and Brandon Aiyuk. This group is one that you can maybe get away with having two players in your starting lineup if you invest early in running backs. Malik Nabers is the most prized possession of the rookie receivers which is why he cracks the Top 20.
Wide Receivers 21-30
21. D.J. Moore
22. Cooper Kupp
23. Jaylen Waddle
24. Stefon Diggs
25. Tee Higgins
26. Zay Flowers
27. George Pickens
28. Chris Godwin
29. Amari Cooper
30. Terry McLaurin
This third tier is the “slow and steady” group. There may be a few breakout games from this bunch the entire season, but they’ll all consistently get 8-12 points per week depending upon scoring settings. Some of them have low-end WR2 potential like Cooper Kupp or Jaylen Waddle. However, this is the batch of guys you should expect to pull from for your flex spot.
Some of these guys like Terry McLaurin, George Pickens and Zay Flowers are their team’s best receiving option, but they still fall into this category based on expected performance this fall.
Here's every Terry McLaurin preseason route in the new Kliff Kingsbury offense:
McLaurin's career average route depth (the distance from the line of scrimmage at which the initial cut in his route comes) is 9.4 yards. This preseason, it's 6.2 yards. https://t.co/Gqq8evav7c pic.twitter.com/FwlTO5cmiF

Wide Receivers 31-40
31. Calvin Ridley
32. Tank Dell
33. Rashee Rice
34. Jaxson Smith-Njigba
35. Keenan Allen
36. Diontae Johnson
37. Rome Odunze
38. Christian Kirk
39. Courtland Sutton
40. Xavier Worthy
The mixed bag here in the last group of wide receivers to draft for fantasy football in 2024 has some rookies and some vets. Players such as Rashee Rice and Jaxson Smith-Njigba have upside as younger veterans while Rome Odunze and Xavier Worthy get in based on their potential. This group of players is where you still have flex options before the talent pool dips into players that are better to stash on the bench.
