7 Chicago Bears Who Could Be Pro Bowlers

With an improved roster brimming with talent, several Chicago Bears deserve to be Pro Bowlers during the 2024-25 NFL season.

The Bears are in the midst of building a roster capable of making a Super Bowl run. A team with only two Pro Bowlers last season, there are expectations that there will be more next season. If all goes well, here are seven Bears who could be Pro Bowlers.

7 Bears Who Could Be Pro Bowlers

Caleb Williams

Given the relative lack of elite quarterbacks in the NFC, Caleb Williams has a strong chance of earning his first Pro Bowl nod in his rookie year. With one of the best supporting casts in the NFL, Williams couldn’t have been drafted into a better situation. For the entirety of the Bears’ rich history, finding a star quarterback has been a ceaseless endeavor. Knock on wood, but it seems the Bears have finally found their savior at QB. Williams is expected not only to break multiple Bears rookie quarterback records (the bar is low) but also to have a Pro Bowl season.

D.J. Moore

D.J. Moore is arguably one of the most underrated wide receivers in the NFL. Despite mediocre quarterback play last season, Moore achieved career highs with 96 catches for 1,364 yards and eight touchdowns. Acquiring Moore from the Panthers was a major steal for the Bears, and he will be a key component of their offense next season. If Caleb lives up to expectations, Moore is poised for another career-high season.

Keenan Allen (Replacement)

Keenan Allen remains an elite wideout despite being 32 years old. However, it will be challenging for him to earn a Pro Bowl spot over players like Justin Jefferson, A.J. Brown, Amon-Ra St. Brown, Ceedee Lamb, and his teammate D.J. Moore. That said, Allen could still be a potential replacement if one of those receivers gets injured or reaches the Super Bowl. Coming from the Los Angeles Chargers, Allen brings his precise route-running skills and ability to get open consistently. Playing alongside Moore and rookie Rome Odunze, Allen should have plenty of opportunities to excel against weaker opponents.

Cole Kmet (Replacement)

Like Allen, Cole Kmet’s chances of making the Pro Bowl over George Kittle, Sam LaPorta, and T.J. Hockenson are slim. However, if one of those players gets injured or reaches the Super Bowl, Kmet would have a strong case for a Pro Bowl nomination. Last season, Kmet recorded 718 yards, six touchdowns, 36 first downs, and only one drop on 90 targets, showcasing impressive production and reliability for a tight end with significant upside. If Kmet continues at that pace, he should be the first Bears’ Pro Bowler since Martellus Bennett in 2015.

Jaylon Johnson

The safest bet to be a Pro Bowler next season, Jaylon Johnson is one of the best, if not the best, cornerbacks in the NFL. Johnson’s rise to stardom last season was unprecedented, considering he wasn’t viewed to be an All-Pro type of player. PFF ranked Johnson as the highest-graded corner in coverage with a 91.0 rating, showing he was a lockdown corner who should get his second Pro Bowl nod.

Montez Sweat

A Pro Bowler with the Bears last season, Montez Sweat was a crucial part of the Bears’ defensive resurgence. Considering the Bears’ inexperienced defensive line, Sweat’s ability to generate pressures and sacks on his own will be vital. If Sweat can continue to be a force at DE, he should be a Pro Bowler next season.

T.J. Edwards

The Bears X-Factor, T.J. Edwards is the heartbeat of the defense and should be in for a huge season. Edwards is an all-around linebacker who was one of the few LBs in the league with a PFF grade of 75 or higher in both pass coverage and run defense. He should finally get some recognition.
