The Browns are sitting at 9-5 after Week 15, with many pros and cons for the season. One of the biggest pros and pleasant surprises has been the eruption of tight end David Njoku. Even with four quarterbacks playing at least three games, Njoku has had his best professional season even with three games and a likely playoff berth to spare.
The Browns wide receiver room is amongst the most inexperienced n the league. Behind veteran Amari Cooper are a third-year, second-year, and rookie wide receiver. Not to mention one of the best running backs in the league, Nick Chubb, has been out since Week 2. When you add in the offensive line injuries, it starts to make sense why tight end David Njoku has enjoyed such a strong season.

Tight end David Njoku is second on the team in receiving yards, and ranks 41st in the entire league. He ranks seventh amongst tight ends and has cemented himself as a top-ten positional player in the NFL. His importance to the team is undeniable, as he continues to get better and provide sparks when needed.
While tight end David Njoku has provided some highlight reel catches between toe-tapping the endzone and hurdling defenders, he has been reliable for third-down conversions. Keeping drives alive and helping earn extra yards, his efforts have not gone unnoticed. If the Browns want to make a playoff and Super Bowl run, tight end David Njoku will be a huge reason why they can do it.
