Week 10 Streamers

What a great week of football. This column will analyze a player at each position rostered in 50 percent of Yahoo leagues or less each week. For reference, the threshold used for Wins and Losses in this article will be if the quarterbacks can score at least 17 points, if the tight ends can score at least eight PPR points, and if the rest can score at least 10 PPR points. Here are the Week 10 streamers.

Week 10 Streamers

Quarterback – Baker Mayfield (TB – 48%) v TEN

Last week was Sam Howell and now we have his doppelganger, Baker Mayfield. Mayfield is another player that I thought was more likely to lose his job than be a recommended fantasy option this season. He’s scored at least 17.20 fantasy points in three straight games now and topped that mark in five of his eight games so far. Mayfield has scored double-digit fantasy points in seven of his eight games this season. He’s now up to 1,865 passing yards, 12 passing touchdowns, 122 rushing yards, and only four interceptions.

This coming week, Mayfield gets a solid matchup when the Tampa Bay Buccaneers host the Tennessee Titans. The Titans have been a bit better than last year against the pass but are still a team that is easier to beat through the air than on the ground. Mayfield is playing well, especially lately, and has a solid matchup this week making him one of the best Week 10 streamers among quarterbacks.

Honorable Mentions – Taylor Heinicke (ATL – 11%) @ ARI, Russell Wilson (DEN – 46%) @ BUF

Running Back – Devin Singletary* (HOU – 50%) @ CIN

This one is going to take a bit of monitoring as it’s not clear if Dameon Pierce is going to miss this week or not but he didn’t practice at all this past week and has an ankle injury so it seems possible, if not likely, that he misses this one. Devin Singletary didn’t do much this past week as C.J. Stroud and the pass catchers were having all the fun for the Houston Texans. It’s certainly possible this week is more of the same, but Singletary will likely be better this week against the Cincinnati Bengals simply due to natural regression.

The Bengals are an easier matchup for running backs as they are mid-pack in fantasy points allowed to the position. Even if Pierce plays, Singletary has been splitting work with him for a while now so he should still be a viable play and see double-digit touches. If Pierce is out though, the workload alone makes him one of the best Week 10 streamers at running back.

Honorable Mentions – Tyjae Spears (TEN – 47%) @ TB, Antonio Gibson (WAS – 45%) @ SEA

Wide Receiver – Tank Dell (HOU – 48%) @ CIN

Last week I said that it would be the last time Tank Dell would be eligible for this column but somehow, his roster percentage went down before the games this week. That’s truly egregious and he made those who dropped or benched him pay with a monster performance. Dell caught six of his 11 targets for 114 yards and two touchdowns and chipped in two rushing yards on two attempts. He’s a big-play wide receiver that the Texans are actively trying to get the ball.

This week he gets a matchup against the Bengals in which the Texans will likely need to throw early and often to keep up. That should be beneficial for Dell. There’s no reason his roster percentage should be this low and this is truly the last time Dell will be eligible for this article making him one of the best Week 10 streamers and someone who should also be held onto for the rest of the season.

Honorable Mentions – Demario Douglas (NE – 35%) v IND, Quentin Johnston (LAC – 34%) v DET

Tight End – Hunter Henry (NE – 38%) v IND

It’s been an up-and-down season for Hunter Henry in 2023. He came out hot and looked like he was emerging as one of the waiver wire darlings at the tight end position after scoring a combined 33.80 fantasy points over the first two weeks. After that though, Henry’s production fell off a cliff. He scored single-digit fantasy points in six straight games only scoring 25 fantasy points combined in those weeks. This past week he re-emerged again catching four of his seven targets for 39 yards and a score on his way to 13.90 fantasy points.

This New England Patriots offense is not very good and Henry sort of “is what he is” at this point so there’s not a lot of upside and some risk involved, but he looks like he’s one of the biggest beneficiaries of injuries to pass catchers. This week he gets a juicy matchup against the Indianapolis Colts who can’t stop anyone except the Carolina Panthers apparently. With some of the better tight end options finally graduating and getting rostered in over 50% of leagues, Henry looks like one of the best Week 10 streamers at the position.

Honorable Mentions – Gerald Everett (LAC – 31%) v DET, Luke Musgrave (GB – 22%) @ PIT
