Recently, the writers and editors here, at Last Word On NFL, were tasked with voting on the top 50 players in the NFL. Of the top 50, three Miami Dolphins made the list. Those three players are. Tyreek Hill, Jalen Ramsey, and Tua Tagovailoa.

LWOS NFL Top 50 Includes Three Dolphins
Tyreek Hill, Wide Receiver: #18 in LWOS Poll
In his first season with the Dolphins, Hill racked up 119 receptions for a staggering 1,710 yards. He had seven receiving touchdowns in helping the Dolphins reach the playoffs. Equally as impressive, Hill played in 17 of the Dolphins 18 games, last season. Hill has already vowed to eclipse 2,000 seething yards this coming season. What is still yet to be seen is whether or not there will be ramifications for Hill allegedly assaulting a marina worker.
While Hill and the worker have come to a resolution, Hill may be suspended under the NFL’s player conduct policy. Should Hill not be suspended, then the likelihood he surpasses 2,000 receiving yards this season, is almost a given. Hill managed to rack up 1,700+ yards last season, from a trio of different quarterbacks. If Tua Tagovailoa stays healthy this season, Hill will not only reach 2,000 receiving yards but could go far beyond that total, easily. Should Hill make good on his promise, he will likely find himself in next year’s LWOS poll, as a top-five player.
Jaelyn Ramsey, Cornerback: #25 in LWOS Poll
Football is many things. One of those things is unpredictable. Jaelyn Ramsey knows this firsthand. After injuring his meniscus during training camp, estimations were he would be sidelined for four months, minimum. Since having surgery he has been seen on the Dolphins sidelines without a brace or crutches. It is a sign that, potentially, Ramsey is back before that four-month timetable. As the old saying goes looks can be deceiving, and just because Ramsey is not wearing a brace or is on crutches, does not definitively mean he will be back before four months. Regardless, Ramsey is regarded as one of the top cornerbacks in the NFL, today. Though he may not have enough time to reach or exceed the number 25 ranking bestowed upon him, one thing for certain is that does not mean Ramsey will not try to usurp that ranking.
Tua Tagovailoa, Quarterback: #26 in LWOS Poll
Fair or unfair, Tua Tagovailoa has received more than his fair share of criticism. Nevertheless, he finds himself ranked at number 26 on the LWOS top 50 players, poll. Limited to 13 of the Dolphins 18 games last season, Tagovailoa was 259/400 for 3,548 yards, and 25 touchdowns, while only throwing eight interceptions. Tagovailoa is hoping to prove his doubters wrong not only in his play but in helping to hopefully lead the Dolphins to at least the AFC Championship Game, for the first time since the 1992- 1993 season. This could be a make-or-break year for Tagovailoa and the Dolphins. The hope is that Tagovailoa can stay healthy and put up, bigger numbers than last year. Or, at the minimum, put up as good of numbers as last season.
