Breece Hall’s fantasy impact this season will be dynamic for fantasy drafters who aren’t afraid to take a little risk. Though it will be an uphill battle at the beginning of the season. He did just come off an ACL tear, which he suffered in week 7 of the 2022 season. However, this injury will not stop him from shinning in 2023!
Breece Hall Fantasy Outlook in 2023
Breece Hall’s Fantasy Outlook Amidst NEW Quarterback
Before his injury in Week 7, Hall averaged 17.1 points per game in Yahoo full point PPR leagues on just 14.1 touches per game with Joe Flacco and Zach Wilson running the New York Jets offense. Now he gets to play with the four-time MVP Aaron Rodgers. Case Closed! Seriously though, the combination of Hall and Rodgers will be lethal. Aaron Rodgers utilizes his running backs out of the backfield. Last season, Aaron Jones and AJ Dillion combined for 4.9 receptions per game. That should be easy for Hall to manage since he averaged close to three catches per game last season. The Jets also have a talented group of receivers that will open up space underneath for Hall and Rodgers to work with.
Factor in a Rejuvenated Jets Offensive Line
The Jets offensive line was tested last year early and often. Their biggest test were the injuries. Last season seven offensive lineman were unavailable due to injuries. The biggest blow coming from their third year left tackle Mekhi Becton who suffered a terrible knee injury in training camp last year. The Jets will have a top tier offensive line if and when they can stay healthy. If the Jets offensive line find a way to avoid injuries this season they will punish defenses. Thus, creating massive holes for Breece Hall to wreak havoc!
What to Make of the 2022 Injury
Fantasy football players might be nervous to draft Hall this year because of his ACL injury he suffered last season. At the start of the NFL season, he will be eleven months removed from the ACL injury. In a recent interview regarding Hall’s rehab, coach Robert Saleh stated, “Breece looks fantastic”. I know, that’s ‘coach speak’ for you. Hell, he probably just started walking a week ago. But I believe Coach Saleh. He doesn’t strike me as a ‘fluff coach’. Hall will be eased in at the start of the season. As such, if fantasy managers can be patient for a few games, they will be rewarded in the long run. Lastly, the modern treatments that football players have at their fingertips is astonishing. Many NFL players that come back are faster and stronger than they were before their injuries thanks to medical advances.
Breece Hall Draft Position
I am by no means telling you to draft Breece Hall with the number one overall pick in your upcoming drafts. However, I will be giving serious consideration in the second round. Definitely a no-brainer draft pick in the third round if he lasts that long. Either way, Hall’s fantasy impact after this year will be talked about for years to come, so draft him with full confidence!
Breece Hall Prediction for 23’:
