Allen Robinson II is a ninth-year wide receiver switching teams for the third time. He enters this season on the Los Angeles Rams after signing a three-year 46.5 million dollar deal in the offseason. Robinson has been unlucky with quarterback play and injuries during his career. He will join a loaded Rams offense with Matthew Stafford and Cooper Kupp. Stafford and Kupp are the best combinations of quarterback and wide receiver that Robinson has ever played with. Not including his injured season in 2017 Robinson has averaged to finish as WR33 per season for his career. Due to the quarterback upgrade, Robinson has a positive fantasy football outlook for the 2022 season.

Allen Robinson Fantasy Football Outlook 2022
2021 Recap
In 2021 the Chicago Bears had one of the worst offenses in the NFL. Behind veteran quarterback Andy Dalton and rookie Justin Fields, the Bears struggled to score and put up yards all season. The Bears ranked bottom 10 in points, passing touchdowns, passing yards, and completion percentage. This is nothing new for Robinson as he has struggled with quarterback play for his whole career. In 2021 Robinson also struggled to stay healthy missing five games due to a hamstring injury. Robinson was a nonfactor in fantasy in 2021, in half of the games he had under 30 yards. He finished as WR81 in 2021 having no top 30 finishes last season. Even in games where he received decent targets, he was a non-factor. In the games with at least 6 targets, he averaged 7.5 PPR points per game.
The Allen Robinson Factor
Robinson enters 2022 as a member of the Super Bowl Champion Los Angeles Rams. He signed a 3 year 46.5 million dollar contract in the offseason. The Rams traded Robert Woods to the Tennessee Titans and chose not to resign Odell Beckham Jr after he tore his ACL in the Super Bowl. Robinson has had very poor quarterback play for his career. His best season came with Blake Bortles as his quarterback in Jacksonville. He has two top 10 wide receiver finishes playing with Bortles. He also has two 1,000-yard seasons playing with Mitchell Trubisky in Chicago on run-heavy offenses. Robinson enters this season with quarterback Matthew Stafford who will easily be the best quarterback he has ever played with. Wide receiver Kupp (fantasy football outlook for 2022) is coming off a historic season leading the league in catches, yards, and touchdowns. That won’t impact Robinson much the Rams have been capable of using multiple receivers that are good for fantasy.
These are the Fantasy finishes over the last 4 years for Sean Mcvay's 2nd Wide Receiver in his offense:
21: Odell + Woods = 20th
20: Kupp = 27th (only played 15 games)
19: Woods = 17th
18: Cooks = 13thAllen Robinson's current 1/2 ppr ADP is WR 27

Kupp will also allow Robinson to see single coverage on the number two defender which is something he has rarely seen in Jacksonville and Chicago. In 2021 Stafford was number three in the league in RedZone passing attempts, which gives Robinson ample opportunity to be a factor in the RedZone this season.
Sean McVay Impact
Sean McVay is one of the best play designers and play callers in the NFL since joining the Rams in 2017. During his time as the Rams head coach, the Rams have averaged over 27 points per game. McVay has also impacted Rams receivers as well, in the last six seasons, Sammy Watkins’s best year came in his one season on the Rams. Brandin Cooks and Robert Woods’s best fantasy seasons came as a member of the Rams as well. Giving Robinson the opportunity to add to this list of Rams receivers.
ADP
Robinson is currently going as WR28 and 69th overall in the sixth round of PPR leagues. He has some hype but also skepticism due to his injury track record. He has an opportunity to have a career-changing season on the Rams. If he can stay healthy he will outplay this ADP and can be a league winner this season.
