NFL veteran defensive tackle DaQuan Jones signed a one-year, $4.05 million contract with the Carolina Panthers. Jones spent the 2020 season with the Tennessee Titans.

Jones was drafted by the Titans, 112th overall in the fourth round of the 2014 NFL draft. During the 2020-21 season, Jones had 29 solo tackles, 20 assists on tackles, and four tackles for loss. Jones, along with two teammates; however, was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list on September 29th. The Titans activated Jones on October 11th. In the playoffs, Jones started one game and solo tackled twice, assisted once, and hit the quarterback once. The Titans lost to the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC Wild Card playoffs. During the 2019-2020 season, Jones had 21 solo tackles, 21 assists on tackles, and two quarterback hits in 16 games. Jones, in the playoffs; subsequently, had two solo tackles, four assists on tackles, and three quarterback hits in three games. The Titans lost to the eventual Super Bowl Champion Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship game.
Jones re-signed with the Titans on March 14, 2018, for three years and $21 million. During the 2018-19 season, Jones had 20 solo tackles, 14 assists on tackles, and five quarterback hits. Jones, during the 2017-2018 season; subsequently, had 19 solo tackles, 12 assists on tackles, and five quarterback hits. Jones suffered a torn biceps against the Houston Texans that; consequently, ended his season. During the 2016-17 season, Jones had 17 solo tackles, nine assists on tackles, and three quarterback hits in 16 games. Jones in the 2015-16 season, completed 25 solo tackles, 20 assists on tackles, and three quarterback hits during 16 games. During the 2014-15 season, Jones only started one game. Jones; however, had five solo tackles, three assists on tackles, and two quarterback hits.
Jones played college football at Penn State University. During his senior year, Jones completed 33 solo tackles, 23 assists on tackles, and 11.5 tackles for loss. In 2011 and 2012 combined, Jones amassed 30 tackles.
