NFL veteran wide receiver T.Y. Hilton signed a one-year, $10 million contract with his longtime team. The wideout spent the first nine seasons with the Indianapolis Colts.
The #Colts are expected to re-sign WR TY Hilton, per his agents the Katz Bros, bringing back one of the faces of the franchise for the past decade. This was always the goal of both sides.

T.Y. Hilton, Indianapolis Colts, Agree to Contract
Hilton started every game during the 2020 season for the Indianapolis Colts registering 56 receptions for 762 yards. His most productive games of the season were during week 13 and 14 against the Houston Texans and Las Vegas Raiders. Against Houston, Hilton achieved his lone 100 yard game of 2020 with eight receptions for 110 yards and a touchdown. Additionally, the following week in Las Vegas would be Hilton’s only multiple touchdown game of the 2020 season. Two touchdowns from five receptions capped off one of Hilton’s better days this season.
Both 2019 and 2020 have been Hilton’s least productive years since his rookie year in 2012. Hilton ended 2019 with 501 yards from just ten games. However, 2019 was the most injury-plagued period of Hilton’s career. A repeating calf tear and a quad strain meant he watched six games from the sideline.
Earlier in his career, Hilton produced five 1000 yard seasons. The most recent of these was in 2018 with 1270 yards from 76 receptions. 2018 was also Hilton’s career-high in yards per game with 90.7. Though, the most successful portion of Hilton’s career with the Colts came between 2013 and 2017 where he managed four consecutive 1000 yard seasons. During this time, Hilton earned a five-year contract extension with the Indianapolis Colts in 2015 and was selected for four straight pro bowls from 2014 to 2017.
Since being selected in the third round in 2012, Hilton has shown he could produce at the next level. This was highlighted immediately during his rookie campaign. Registering, 50 catches for 861 yards Hilton was selected for the PWFA All-Rookie team. Alongside then-rookie quarterback Andrew Luck, he would lead the team in touchdown catches with seven. His standout game during his rookie year was in week 12 against the Buffalo Bills. A punt return for 75 yards and an eight-yard touchdown catch for Hilton lead the Colts to a 20-13 victory.
