Zack Moss 2020 NFL Draft Profile
Zack Moss is a talented running back and three-year starter for the University of Utah. He rushed for more than 1000 yards in each of his three seasons at Utah. This year, he rushed for 1416 yards and reached the endzone 15 times. Both statistics were good enough to lead the Pac-12 conference. He added 388 yards receiving on 28 catches as well his senior season. The fact that he accounted for nearly 2,000 yards of combined offense made him a major threat and an impact player.
Zack Moss played his senior year of high school football at Hallandale High is Florida and originally committed to the University of Miami before changing his mind and opting to attend college at the University of Utah. That’s quite a change of pace, Miami, Florida to Salt Lake City, Utah. It worked out well for him though. He rushed for more than 1000 yards and 7.5 yards a carry as a senior, adding 17 rushing touchdowns as well.
Zack became Utah’s all-time leading rusher in 2019 capping off a tremendous career. He also leaves Utah as the all-time leader in rushing touchdowns. In 2019 he also added first-team all Pac-12 honors and was named the Pac-12 offensive player of the year. If you look at the Utah Utes records books, Moss owns more or less all of the rushing titles. He had a spectacular career.

Bottom Line on Zack Moss
Zack Moss is a talented running back who is NFL ready right out of the gate. He brings a physical style and isn’t easily tackled, especially when he reaches the secondary. He’s put up plenty of tape at Utah and has three 1,000 yard rushing seasons to his credit. He leaves Utah as the all-time leading rusher and leader in rushing touchdowns. He’s one of the top three running backs in the draft and should be off the board relatively early. He could go as soon as early in round 2 or could slip to round 4. Wherever he lands, he’ll make an impact. I think he’s more than capable of having a 1,000-yard rookie campaign and could be in the running for offensive rookie of the year depending on where he ends up.
