Aaron Rodgers Headlines Week 13 DFS Stack Plays (FanDuel)

The Sunday player pool is a bit shallower than usual, but I still managed to find my top three DFS stack plays for Week 13.
Aaron Rodgers

Welcome to Week 13 of NFL season. It is officially time to start freaking out that football will be coming to an end much sooner than we’d like. It’s Thanksgiving weekend and before you know it, it will be Christmas which means it’s time to go all-in on FanDuel.

With three games being played on Thanksgiving, the Sunday player pool is a bit shallower than usual, but I still managed to find my top three DFS stack plays for Week 13. So, without further ado, let’s get started.

Aaron Rodgers Headlines Week 13 DFS Stack Plays

Aaron Rodgers ($8,100) & Davante Adams ($8,000) @ New York Giants

The Green Bay Packers are coming off a truly ugly loss against the San Francisco 49ers last week which is exactly why I am featuring these two at the top of my list. Thus far, the Packers are 2-0 in games after losses and have performed at a much higher level than they may have shown the week prior.

This week the matchup couldn’t be any better for Aaron Rodgers and Adams as the Giants rank 24th against quarterbacks and 31st against the wide receiver position. Even in last week’s loss, we saw Rodgers get Adams more involved, especially near the goal line where Adams finally scored his first touchdown of the season. I expect a lot of the same this week against a struggling secondary that should be without star safety, Jabrill Peppers. There’s no doubt that this may be a pricey stack, but I think in the end, it will pay off big time.

Nick Foles ($7,500) & D.J. Chark ($6,900) vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Since returning from a broken collarbone, Nick Foles has been up and down as the Jacksonville Jaguars starting quarterback making this week a big one in regards to his future with the team. He’ll have his easiest matchup by a pretty wide margin going up against the Bucs 31st-ranked passing defense. In 11 games this season, the Buccaneers have allowed eight different quarterbacks to score 20 or more fantasy points with four of those eight exceeding 30 fantasy points. As we’ve all known for years, start the quarterback against the Bucs and good things will happen.

As I mentioned earlier, the Bucs are 31st against quarterbacks and guess what? That’s not even there worst ranking. Opposing wide receivers have scored nearly 40 fantasy points a game when facing Tampa Bay which is the most in the entire NFL. With that being said, there are multiple Jaguars wide receivers who can have big games, but my money is on D.J. Chark. In the two games since Foles’ return, Chark is averaging over 10 targets a game and has a combined 142 yards and two touchdowns. He has proven himself as a legitimate threat in the NFL and I see him and Foles carving up the weak Bucs secondary all day long.

Kyle Allen ($7,200) & D.J. Moore ($6,200) vs Washington Redskins

As I do every week, I highlight my favorite value stack for all of the FanDuel players who like to go cheap at quarterback and stock up on pricey playmakers. This week I see a ton of value in Kyle Allen and D.J. Moore facing the Redskins in Carolina.

After struggling for a couple of weeks, Kyle Allen had a terrific performance last week against a very good Saints defense in New Orleans. He finished the game with over 250 passing yards, three touchdowns and most importantly, zero interceptions. Allen has shown moments of brilliance this year while also allowing some of his inexperience to show. Going up against a bad Redskins secondary this week, I expect a lot more brilliance than inexperience.

When it comes to Panthers pass catchers, there is Moore and Curtis Samuel and really not much else. In this matchup, I’d go with Moore who until last week hasn’t shined in the touchdown department but has played great football all year long. Many might not realize this, but Moore is currently fifth amongst all receivers in yardage. In just his last four games, Moore is averaging over 11 targets and has converted those targets into 30 catches, 442 yards, and two touchdowns. In a game I expect the Panthers to win fairly easily, look for Allen to target Moore early and often giving you a great bang for your buck.
