NFL Week 4 FanDuel Fantasy Steals
Quarterbacks
Washington Redskins at New York Giants
After Giants quarterback Daniel Jones’ career debut last week, it was expected his value would shoot up. Jones finished with a whopping 34.24 points on FanDuel last week and should be just as successful this week. Jones plays at home against a 28th ranked Washington Redskins defense, so for a price of only $7,300 on FanDuel, he’s a no brainer to start.
Jacoby Brissett – Oakland Raiders at Indianapolis Colts
At $7,300, Jacoby Brissett is still sitting pretty cheap on FanDuel regardless of his steady increase in points since his start. Brissett locked in at his season-high last week with 20.8 points on FanDuel against the Atlanta Falcons, who had the seventh-ranked passing defense. The Colts looked much better last week and Brissett should do well this week against a weak Oakland Raiders defense.
Wide Receiver
Tyler Lockett – Seattle Seahawks at Arizona Cardinals
Tyler Lockett’s impressive performance against the New Orleans Saints last week should have again upped his value. Although Seattle lost, Lockett finished with 26.9 FanDuel points, boasting 154 yards and a touchdown. Priced at only $6,600, Lockett should give FanDuel fantasy owners a heavy return this week.
John Ross – Cincinnati Bengals at Pittsburgh Steelers
Don’t let John Ross’s point production slip last week scare you. Division games generally bring out the best competition in players, and with Pittsburgh’s consistently poor performance against receivers, Ross is a great steal pick for lineups. Ross should bounce back and put up top numbers this week and at only $6,100 is a must-have for your lineups.
Running Back
Leonard Fournette – Jacksonville Jaguars at Denver Broncos
Leonard Fournette has not excelled in fantasy point production this season, but his pricing this week has him around much lower-producing running backs. Fournette may not be the most successful running back this week, but if you need a cheap addition to the roster, he should at least finish with double digits. Denver’s biggest weakness on defense is blocking the run game, so Fournette should see a good amount of targets. At $6,400, I expect Fournette’s point production to continue steadily increasing and he should finish with over 12 fantasy points.
Wayne Gallman – Washington Redskins at New York Giants
Giants running back Saquon Barkley suffered an ankle injury last week putting him out for the next few weeks, which leaves Wayne Gallman as the team’s starter. Gallman is priced at only $5,800 due to usually being second in line for the team, but he has a great chance at producing higher numbers now that he’ll receive the team’s primary carries. Washington has one of the worst defenses in the league at blocking the run, which gives Gallman a prime opportunity to showcase his talents during his opener as the teams’ starter.
Tight End
Delanie Walker – Tennessee Titans at Atlanta Falcons
Delanie Walker has shown steady numbers so far this season, with a season-high of 20 fantasy points and low of 5.9. Atlanta has a decent defense, but with limited options this week Walker may be the best affordable option for the tight end spot. At $5,700, Walker comes in very affordable, with a chance at putting up big numbers, but at worst finishing at least average.
Defense
Baltimore Ravens – Cleveland Browns at Baltimore Ravens
Honestly, there is really no reason not to just spend the money and take the Los Angeles Chargers defense against the Miami Dolphins this week, but if you really need to save a little money on your lineup this is the next best bet. Cleveland’s offense has struggled the past few weeks, and Baltimore’s defense is one of the best in the league. The matchup should prove favorably for Baltimore, especially with it being a division matchup.
