Keelan Doss 2019 NFL Draft Profile
Keelan Doss is a senior out of UC Davis. Doss started in two games his freshman year where he tallied 22 receptions for 325 yards and two touchdowns. An ankle injury resulted in him missing his entire 2015 campaign. In 2016, Doss returned with a stellar year in which he started 10 out of 11 games and recorded 66 receptions for 911 yards and 10 touchdowns.
The following year, Doss finished as a finalist for the Walter Payton Award as the top player in the FCS and really came into his own. In ten games, he had 115 receptions for 1,499 yards and seven touchdowns. He also recorded a 42-yard rushing touchdown on his only attempt of the year. Doss continued his outstanding play his senior season in a year which saw him record 118 receptions for 1334 yards and nine touchdowns. He was also named to the FCS All-American second team.

Bottom Line
Even though Doss had an amazing collegiate career, it was against tier II talent. He didn’t play in a power conference, thus his experience against future NFL talent is minimal at best.
With that being said, he still has all of the intangibles required to be a starter at the next level. Whichever team drafts him will need to focus on building his strength to help break free of press coverage and his straight-line speed. If developed correctly, Keelan Doss will possess all the tools necessary to be a solid slot wide receiver in the NFL. If everything breaks right, he can be a constant contributor at the WR 3-4 position throughout his rookie deal, and then a team falls in love with him enough to sign him as their WR2. Look for him to be drafted anywhere from the fourth to fifth round.
