Carolina Panthers OT Daryl Williams Carted Off
It’s something you never want to see coming from Training Camp Twitter, but it’s the nature of this game. Fourth year Offensive Tackle Daryl Williams was carted off after what seemed to be a severe knee injury. Williams has been in talks for an extension heading into his contract year.
The reports from practice were discouraging.
Daryl Williams just went down in a tremendous amount of pain. Trainers surrounding him. Silent here on the field.

This could be a devastating blow for a new look Panthers offense that seems primed to make a run. Second year player Taylor Moton filled in at right tackle after Williams was carted off.
More updates to come after practice wraps up.
UPDATE: Head Coach Ron Rivera tells media that Williams will be taken to Charlotte for further evaluation. Moton is the next man up.
