The San Francisco 49ers started off their season with veteran quarterback Blaine Gabbert as they’re starting quarterback. He would play in five games and would throw for 925 yards with five touchdowns and six interceptions. He would lose his job and be bench for the rest of the season in week six. Kaepernick is no longer with the San Francisco 49ers and they have signed veteran Brian Hoyer who is projected to be the starting quarterback. With the depth at the quarterback position in fantasy football this season owner should look elsewhere for their starting quarterback in the upcoming season.

Hyde is a solid running back two next season and with the new head coach in San Francisco Kyle Shanahan he should see plenty of opportunities and could be a draft a bargain in the fourth or fifth rounds of next year’s draft.

He totaled 93 fantasy points and finished the as the 24th ranked kicker. Dawson signed with the Arizona Cardinals in the off-season. He is worth keeping an eye on in fantasy next season.
Defense
The 49ers defense is not the power house it was a few years ago. In 2016 or was one of the defenses that fantasy owners targeted especially for running backs. They finished the season with 23 fantasy points and was the 31st ranked defense in fantasy football. With the 49ers playing in a tough division there defense is not much more then a match up play next season.
The 49ers have had back to back rough seasons finishing with less than five wins each season. However they are heading in the right direction with there new coach Kyle Shanahan. If they can build through the draft and free agency the 49ers could be a solid team in a few years. In the mean time it might be a rough few season for 49ers fans. Also be a down year in regards to there fantasy production.
