All season long the Kansas City Chiefs have heard the complaints about their team. It seems some analysts have gone out of their way to call the Chiefs boring. Fans of the Chiefs have heard all year long how their team is not exciting. Well today the tables are flipped. The Kansas City Chiefs are a fun team to watch so wake up America. Is that so hard to believe? Here is an explanation on why the Chiefs are fun to watch.

Tyreek Hill
Kansas City used their second, fifth-round pick on a controversial player named Tyreek Hill. Hill had the talent to play in the NFL but he also had a domestic violence issue that he had pleaded guilty to. The Chiefs front office said that they did their research on Hill before picking him.
Kansas City knew that they were putting themselves on the line selecting someone like him and hoped that he was worth it. So far this season Tyreek Hill has proven to be worth it. He has stayed out of trouble off the field and caused plenty of trouble for opposing defenses on the field. Once Hill is in the open field good luck to anyone trying to tackle him.
Travis Kelce
During the off-season Travis Kelce had fun filming his reality dating show “Catching Kelce.” Most fans don’t care too much about what players do in the off-season. However, if Kelce is going to film a reality show fans are going to want him to show up during the regular season. And Kelce has done just that in 2016.
The former University of Cincinnati standout is one touchdown shy of his season average with one game to go. The Ohio native recorded his first 1,000 yard receiving season in with 1,117 yards so far in 2016. Kelce is one of the faster tight ends in the league and very dangerous in the open field. Against the Denver Broncos Kelce took a screen pass 80 yards for a touchdown. Alex Smith knows it’s a good idea to get Kelce the ball and so far in 2016 he has done just that.
Defense
At one point in time in 2016 the Chiefs had scored 55 percent of their points on defense and special teams. Eric Berry has found the end zone on three out of four of his interceptions this season. On one Berry scored the first ever pick two in NFL history. Marcus Peters had two pick sixes in 2015 and quickly recorded five interceptions in 2016. Other than those interceptions Peter has largely been ignored by opposing teams and quarterbacks. He is a game changer though when given the chance and extremely entertaining to watch. The former Washington Husky ripped the ball out of Kelvin Benjamin’s hands to help win the game for the Chiefs when they played the Carolina Panthers. Kansas City has relied heavily on their defense in 2016 and for the most part the defense has delivered.
Small Market Team
Kansas City is not New York or Los Angeles. It’s not even Chicago when it comes to the size of the overall city. The Chiefs are a small market team so they are not talked about nationally as much as they probably should be. Because the Chiefs are a small market team a lot of the big sports networks seem to have decided that they are boring to watch. This is definitely not the case though and if the Chiefs are on television they should be watched. During their win against Denver they even ran a play call the “bloated Tebow Pass.” This pass involved their defensive tackle, Dontari Poe, throwing a two-yard touchdown pass.
