The league announced that Sunday’s Hall of Fame Game between the Indianapolis Colts and Green Bay Packers has been canceled. Unsafe field conditions have been cited as the cause.
NFL Cancels Hall of Fame Game Due to Unsafe Field Conditions
The source of the problem is related to the paint job that was applied to the field. This is especially true with respect to the 50-yard line and the end zone. Apparently the paint dried incorrectly, leading to an abnormally hard and slick surface.
