Motorsport runs in the Anagnostiadis family.

Her mother, Barbara, was a competitive go-karter, and her father worked as a track mechanic.

From the age of six, Aiva was exposed to the world of karting, quickly developing a passion for speed.

It was not long before her competitive spirit spurred her on to focus solely on the sport.

Her success became evident as she secured numerous podium finishes, further strengthening her resolve to pursue a professional racing career.

In 2021, she earned the Australian Ladies Trophy. This led her to showcase her skills at the Motorsport Games in France in 2022.

By 2024, she transitioned into car racing, testing regularly with Argenti Motorsport.

Her determination was rewarded as she finished 10th in her debut season of the Indian F4 Championship, proving her potential as a rising talent in motorsport.

Formula Winter Series

Last month, Aiva Anagnostiadis experienced a challenging start to her European racing journey in the Formula Winter Series at Portimão.

Despite setbacks, the Australian showcased resilience and secured a top-20 finish in the season opener.

Anagnostiadis made progress throughout the weekend. Her strongest performance was in the first race.

Starting from P30, she made an excellent start, advancing to P25 in the opening laps. A safety car incident late in the race allowed her to gain further ground, and she crossed the line in P22, later promoted to P20 after post-race penalties.

However, a stall at the start of the second race left her a lap down, and mixed conditions in the final race added to the difficulties.

Nonetheless, she gained positions and set personal best lap times in each race, demonstrating her determination to improve.

The Future

Reflecting on her upcoming journey in the F1 Academy, Anagnostiadis shared her excitement, stating:

“I’m beyond excited for the 2025 season! This is an amazing opportunity, and working with a team like Hitech GP and a sponsor like TAG Heuer is a dream come true. I’m ready to chase my goals and fight for every opportunity to win!”

With her passion, determination, and the support of a prestigious team and sponsor, Aiva Anagnostiadis is set to make a significant impact in the F1 Academy.

As the 2025 season approaches, fans and motorsport enthusiasts alike will be eagerly watching her as she takes the next step in her promising career.
