He is on the Board of Directors for the Football Writers Association of America. That makes him one of the 20 panelists who cast the final vote each year for the FWAA All-American team, the Outland Trophy, and the Nagurski Award. Tony is also a voter for the Biletnikoff Award, Lombardi, Groza, Broyles, Eddie Robinson, and Ray Guy awards.
