2022 Week Three Heisman Rankings

Last Word on College Football Heisman Rankings

The month of October provides many changes to our landscape. A change in weather, a change in colors and certainly a change in our College Football Heisman Rankings. As we start to get into conference season, team and players begin to separate themselves as contenders or pretenders. Losses by Clemson, Washington, Washington State, Auburn and San Diego State let us know that parity is still alive.

Will these losses cause Luke Falk and Rashaad Penny to plummet in our rankings? Does comeback performances by Mason Rudolph and Baker Mayfield enough to get them back in the race? How can Bryce Love stay at the forefront of Heisman voters with the off week? Finally, can Saquon Barkley survive the gauntlet of facing Michigan, Ohio State and Michigan State in consecutive weeks and stay among the leaders? Find out as we answer those questions in our latest edition on the Last Word on College Football’s Heisman Rankings.

Love needed just five minutes to eclipse the century mark against Oregon. We have become accustomed to 100 plus yard games and huge runs and Love retained his number one ranking by doing both. Love had a 67-yard touchdown run in route to a 147 yard day.
