In addition to football, Van Dyke was selected as the Western New England baseball pitcher of the year as a junior.

The 6’4 212 pound quarterback was rated by 247Sports as a top ten player in the state of Connecticut. He impressed during the summer camping period as he was selected as an Elite 11 quarterback. Van Dyke will be graduating high school early to enroll at Miami, where he will try to win the starting position. The Hurricanes need more consistency at the quarterback position and Van Dyke will certainly add to the depth.

After committing to the Hurricanes, Van Dyke was very vocal on social media in trying to recruit players to Miami. Some other schools to offer Van Dyke were Syracuse, UCLA, Purdue, and Boston College.

About Hebreu Maxis

My name is pronounced just like the book in the Bible (Hebrew) but someone at the hospital decided to replace the W, with a U. I am 23 years old at the moment, I am also a recent graduate of Carson-Newman University in Jefferson City, TN. I am a South Florida native, more specifically Pompano Beach, Florida. I remember watching Sean Taylor's highlights on the news in 2003 and it was a wrap after that, my obsession with the game began. I'm always looking to connect with others who share a love for the sport so feel free to reach out.
