Three-star cornerback and Florida commit Chester Kimbrough has signed his NLI to the University of Florida. This is a huge signing for Florida as he was a tough get with other SEC programs in the mix. This is the third cornerback Mullen has signed in his first two recruiting classes at the University of Florida. Chester Kimbrough is the second cornerback in the Florida Gators 2019 recruiting class with Jaydon Hill.

Chester Kimbrough is a three-star cornerback out of Warren Easton High School in New Orleans, Louisiana. The Florida cornerback commit is one of the top cornerbacks in the country. He was a tough get for the Gators as Kimbrough had offers from some elite programs. Kimbrough really took off in recruiting once he committed to Florida and schools recruited him harder. Kimbrough signed with Florida over Alabama, Georgia, LSU, Michigan, Mississippi State, Ole Miss and Texas.
On 247 Sports, Kimbrough is the 443rd ranked recruit and the 46th ranked cornerback in the country. On ESPN, Kimbrough is the 21st ranked recruit in Louisiana and the 48th ranked cornerback in the country. The Gators have added a solid cornerback who could really make an impact in the future. Being an early signee, Kimbrough is locked in the Florida Gators 2019 recruiting class.
