Last Word’s week ten winners aren’t anything they would tell stories to their grandkids about. But it was a decent bounce back week with both moneyline and totals going 4-3. Against the spread, we were on the wrong side of at 3-4, and the West Virginia upset clipped through our lock. Looking at the Big 12 week 11 winners, a very clear trend has emerged. No total is set high enough this week. All lines are courtesy of FanDuel.

Big 12 Week 11 Winners: Expect A Scoring Stampede
Houston At UCF (+1.5)
How To Watch
Date: Friday, 11/7/2025; Time: 8pm ET; TV: FS1
The Big 12 week 11 winners kicks off with a Friday night trip down to Orlando. Willie Fritz’s team is looking to bounce back after their sloppy performance in a home loss to West Virginia. UCF is also coming off its worst performance of the season in a game in which it only scored three points against Baylor. However, UCF has one thing on its side that Houston does not. It is UCF’s annual Space Game. The Knights will be sporting some alternate uniforms, as they always do for this annual game. UCF is a perfect 8-0 in Space Games. That’s enough for us to pick ’em this week, especially with such a small point spread. Side note, why Houston and UCF aren’t playing annually for a space-themed rivalry trophy feels like a missed opportunity by commissioner Bret Yormark.

#7 BYU At #8 Texas Tech (-10.5)
How To Watch
Date: Saturday, 11/8/2025; Time: 12 pm ET; TV: ABC
The biggest game in all of college football this Saturday could likely be the first of two meetings between these two teams. The Red Raider students have been camping outside the stadium since Sunday in preparation for the biggest game since the last time College Gameday paid a visit to the Hub city. Joey McGuire’s team is about as healthy as any team could be this late in the season. The Texas Tech running game needs to get going to allow the Red Raiders to control this one. When added with what should be a high-energy and attacking defense, the home team pulls away in the second half for a comfortable win.

Colorado At West Virginia (-6.5)
How To Watch
Date: Saturday, 11/8/2025; Time: 12 pm ET; TV: TNT
Deion Sanders’ team has three games remaining, including this trip to Morgantown. If they have any life to them, the Buffs have to show up in this one. Losing at home by 35 after a 46-point road loss suggests this team isn’t digging deep to pull out of this spiral. Meanwhile, Rich Rodriguez has a little something brewing offensively with Scotty Fox Jr. getting inserted into the starting lineup. Even if Colorado does show up for this one, the Mountaineers should handle their business relatively easily.
Moneyline: West Virginia ATS: West Virginia Total 54.5: Over
Kansas At Arizona (-4.5)
How To Watch
Date: Saturday, 11/8/2025; Time: 3:30 pm ET; TV: ESPN2
The trip to the Tucson desert brings the sight of the Big 12 week 11 lock of the week. For both of these teams, the last three games each of them has played has reached at least 59 points. Lance Leipold’s Jayhawks don’t do anything very well defensively. Arizona’s defense is better than Kansas’, but it has still allowed 31, 33, and 39 in its Big 12 losses. Jalon Daniels should be able to make plays in this one to keep the scoreboard operator busy. However, Arizona’s offense will be too overwhelming for Kansas to get enough stops to keep this one close. The Wildcats secure a bowl birth with this high-scoring victory.
Moneyline: Arizona ATS: Arizona Total 56.5: Over
Iowa State At TCU (-6.5)
How To Watch
Date: Saturday, 11/8/2025; Time: 3:30 pm ET; TV: FOX
Something is off with this Iowa State team. Ever since they lost both starting cornerbacks with season-long injuries, they haven’t been able to produce a full game playing at a high level. Even more concerning is that Rocco Becht appears to be regressing a little bit. TCU still hasn’t done anything to suggest that they are a major force to be reckoned with. However, Josh Hoover should have no problems attacking this Cyclone defense. The Horned Frogs won’t encounter any rough seas on their way to victory in this one. Assuming they don’t fall off their lily pad, they will get a chance to prove themselves next week when they go to BYU.
