Who Is Gone?
Following the 7-6 season, the Hogs lost Andrew Armstrong and Isaac Tesla to the NFL. In addition to this duo, Tyrone Broden worked to the next level. The Razorbacks then lost portal transfers Isaiah Sategna to Oklahoma and Dazmin Jones to California. If this was not enough change, the Razorbacks saw speedster Jordan Anthony depart the program as he now focuses on track and field in Fayetteville.
To put this into full context, not including Anthony, the quartet was essential to this offense last season. The group amassed a combined 158 receptions for 2.373 yards while scoring six touchdowns for Arkansas. As the portal can take away, it can also give as head coach, Sam Pittman and staff were active in this position room, and rightfully so.

How active was this staff? Arkansas bolsters its roster with seven additions at wide receiver. In what is an eclectic group comprised of Power 4 and a group of five talents, they show promise. While these players possess great speed, they lack size, which could brew issues as the season transpires. In addition to these players, Arkansas has Monte Harrison, the 29-year-old former MiLB player, who brings experience as he returns for his sophomore season.

In Bradley County, they are known for two things: Pink tomatoes and talented wide receivers. To go further, the town of Warren has produced four NFL wide receivers in 11 years. On the roster for Arkansas is another Lumberjack, in Antonio Jordan. The true freshman has an opportunity to be a hero for Arkansas, as Cisse went down with torn ligaments in his wrist that were surgically repaired on July 11th.
Jordan is the talented receiver in the room, at 6’6, and equals Harrison as the heaviest at 230 pounds. Jordan will have quite the hill to climb to accomplish this, but with injuries come opportunities. Of the nearly 15 options on this roster, the wide receiver position is wide open for Arkansas. The key will be gelling with Green on the field to succeed throughout the season.
