Na’eem Offord Ends Speculation, Flips From Ohio State to Oregon

“Best in America” was expected to get a massive bump in the 2025 recruiting class. In addition to Devin Sanchez (the top cornerback) and Faheem Delane (top-eight safety), Ohio State was expected to add five-star corner, Na’eem Offord. There was plenty of smoke about Offord flipping to Auburn, Oregon, or Florida in the days leading up to the early signing period. In the wake of Ohio State’s loss to Oregon, he reaffirmed his commitment. As it turns out, he flipped to Oregon and signed with the Ducks, giving Dan Lanning yet another five-star athlete.

According to 247Sports‘ model, he is a five-star athlete, the second-best corner, and the 12th-best overall player in the 2025 recruiting cycle.

Na’eem Offord Ends Speculation, Flips to Oregon

Like his running mates, five-star Brandon Finney and four-star Dorian Brew, Offord can be a day-one, immediate-impact kind of player for the Ducks. Oregon has recruited the position incredibly well this cycle.

In its scouting report, 247Sports projects Offord to be the latest in a long line of first-round NFL Draft picks. The six-foot-one, 185-pound corner has high expectations from the jump.

Offord is not limited in what he can do based on the scheme. He can excel in all kinds of defensive coverages thanks to his impressive physical tools. He’s a fluid athlete with impressive length, making it incredibly difficult for offenses to get the better of him. He has a unique blend of size, patience, and reaction. Offord can match up with any receiver of any size or speed and come out on top. He has great closing speed and can minimize passing windows with how quickly he can rise up to make the play.

Offord gets to suit up in the AHSAA 6A state title game on Friday. His Parker Thundering Herd takes on the Saraland Spartans.
