All-America OT Issiah Walker Signs With Florida

Dan Mullen and the Florida Gators coaching staff have signed one of the top offensive lineman in the country. Four-star offensive tackle and Florida commit Issiah Walker has signed his NLI to the University of Florida. This is a great signing for the Gators as they need a ton of help with their offensive line. Florida offensive line coach John Hevesy did a great job of landing the All-American offensive tackle. The Gators need help in the trenches since the offensive line has been the offense’s biggest weakness. Walker is the fourth offensive lineman committed to the Florida Gators with Gerald Mincey, Richard Leonard, and Jovens Janvier.

Who is Issiah Walker?

Issiah Walker is a four-star tackle out of Miami Norland School in Miami, Florida. The Florida commit was one of the top in-state recruits the Florida coaching staff wanted to keep. He is a big, physical offensive tackle with a lot of room to fill in his large frame. At 6’4” 310 pounds, Walker can add another 10-15 pounds to his frame and may contribute as a true freshman. Walker committed to the Florida Gators over Auburn, Florida State, LSU, Miami, Mississippi State, Ohio State, Penn State and South Carolina.

On 247Sports, Walker is ranked the 113th overall recruit, and the 12th ranked offensive tackle in the country. On ESPN, Walker is ranked the 117th overall recruit, and the 15th ranked offensive tackle in the country. The Gators have added a strong offensive tackle who John Hevesy will get the most out of. Issiah Walker will play in the Under Armour All-American Game. He will also enroll early at the University of Florida.
