WTA Tour Rankings: Movers of the Week Including Sara Bejlek

The first week of WTA Tour tennis in February is in the books, so who rose the rankings most within the tour’s Top 100? A couple of tournament champions across the world will certainly see their rankings climb the charts, ahead of the first WTA 1000 of the season in Doha. LWOT has the list below:

Biggest Movers in the WTA top 100 This Week – Week 5

Moving Up

Sorana Cirstea: +5: world #36 -> world #31

Cirstea, in the last season of her storied career, won her fourth title this week — and first at home in Romania. She cruised past Emma Raducanu, who had a solid ranking week herself, in a 6-0 6-2 victory on the indoor hard courts. The Romanian is now 10 spots away from her career-high ranking of No. 21.

Sara Bejlek: +63: world #101 -> world #38

Bejlek qualified for the main draw at the Abu Dhabi Open, and dominated the rest of the week. The Czech, at just 20 years old, clinched her first WTA Tour title after stunning No. 2 seed Ekaterina Alexandrova 7-6 (5) 6-1 in the final. Bejlek notably had also stunned the top-seed Clara Tauson in a thrilling three-setter. She’s now at a career-high ranking.

Katie Boulter: +36: world #120 -> world #84

What a week for Boulter. After facing an untimely dip in form, the Brit surged to a WTA 250 title in Ostrava this week. She dropped two sets all tournament, and the now four-time WTA Tour champion is back in the Top 100 after hovering at the Top 50 mark for much of 2025. Ahead of the Ostrava tournament, Boulter’s losses in 2026 each came at the hands of Top 20 players.

Moving Down

Elsa Jacquemot: -7: world #60 -> world #53

Just after reaching a career high ranking of No. 53 in the world, the Frenchwoman’s ranking dropped back to the No. 60 mark after this week. Jacquemot was the top seed in the Abu Dhabi qualifying draw, and dipped out of the tournament after losing in three sets to compatriot Chloe Paquet.

Anastasia Potapova: -18: world #58 -> world #76

Potapova was the defending champion of the Cluj-Napoca tournament, and after a quarterfinal loss this season, her ranking will take a hit to just outside the Top 75 mark. The Austrian lost in the quarterfinals of the tournament to eventual champion Cirstea.
