In the midst of a packed schedule with endless travel and a long list of tournaments to chase ranking points, some tennis players found space in their calendars for something that mattered more. In 2025, eight tennis players traded their rackets for the rings and post-match handshakes for the wedding vows.
Tennis Weddings: 9 Players Marry in 2025
1. Alejandro Davidovich Fokina
Davidovich Fokina was the first tennis player to tie the knot in 2025. Just nine days after celebrating his 26th birthday, the Spaniard wed longtime girlfriend Paloma Amatiste at the Finca Cortesin in Casares, Spain. French ATP player Arthur Fils, who is a close friend of Davidovich Fokina, served as the couple’s witness. Davidovich Fokina described the whole experience as the most nerve-wracking moment of his life.

2. Arthur Rinderknech
Arthur Rinderknech married former collegiate tennis player Hortense Boscher just before the French Open. The couple first met during their time at Texas A&M University about a decade ago and got engaged in 2023. Wedding bells rang in Brittany, France, earlier this year, although their honeymoon hardly lasted a week as Rinderknech was scheduled to face Jannik Sinner in the first round at Roland Garros.
