Alex De Minaur and Tomas Martin Etcheverry are set to play for the second time this year at Barcelona. Their previous match was a straight-set victory by De Minaur at the 2025 United Cup in Australia. Though that tournament was played on a hardcourt, their match in Spain will be played on clay, and the only time they have met on clay in the past, Etcheverry took De Minaur down in three sets with Etcheverry winning all three. Can the man with 300 wins on clay to only 152 losses take out the higher-ranked De Minaur again? De Minaur is a meager 70-50 on clay courts.
Best Bet to Make
The books have De Minaur winning, and I completely agree with their logic. If you want to make some money and aren’t afraid of taking a risk on an underdog for a good reason, then Etcheverry at 3.61 is probably too tempting to pass up. If your reasons for choosing Etcheverry are his previous clay victory and his overall impeccable record on the surface, then you’re betting with logic, and you should be fine no matter what happens. Losing a bet sucks, but at least you’re taking sound risks, and Etcheverry certain fits the bill.
That being said, Etcheverry winning is a value bet for sure.

Tiafoe – Munar: Time 10:00
H2H: 1-3
The last time Frances Tiafoe and Jaume Munar met, Tiafoe beat him for the first time in their career, and he overcame Munar on his preferred clay surface. Tiafoe is 6-4 in his last ten matches while Munar is 4-6 in the same ten-match timeframe. That said, Munar is a staggering 328-185 on clay while Tiafoe is 118-68. Munar has a mountain of experience, will be playing at home, and is playing on his preferred court type.

Best Bet to Make
So, the last time I picked Tiafoe, I pretty much made a fool of myself. I feel the only way to vindicate myself is to pick Munar in this match. The books have Tiafoe winning, but they don’t hate Munar. In fact, they are rather bullish on him at 1.81 on several sites. Considering only a few places are 2.00 or above on Tiafoe suggests that many see this one closer to a draw.
That being said, Tiafoe winning or Munar winning are value bets for sure.

Khachanov – Norrie: Time 10:00
H2H: 4-3
To say that Karen Khachanov and Cameron Norrie are familiar with one another is an understatement. Since 2021, Khachanov and Norrie have met seven times, this will be their eighth. Khachanov has had success in the last two matches, one of which happened to be the French Open. Norrie can’t feel too worried, though, as they drop to 2-2 when you look at matches played on clay. The two opponents have played 18 total sets, and are sure to have another classic in Spain.
Best Bet to Make
The books have Khachanov winning, and I completely agree. If you do think Norrie can pull off the upset, he does have fairly tempting odds. You can make some money on Khachanov, but you’re looking at making about half your bet for a payout. Should Norrie pull off the upset, you can come close to making 2.5x your initial bet for your payout. Those odds might be tempting for many.
That being said, Khachanov to win is a value bet for sure.
