ATP 500 Doha 1/8-Finals
Marozsan – Lehecka: 19.02.2025 15:30 CEST
H2H: 1-0
Fabian Marozsan has won three of his last five matches. Last week in Rotterdam, Marozsan lost in the second round against Rublev in straight sets. Fabian won his opening-round match against Dougaz this week in Doha in straight sets. He offered and saved only one breakpoint. A break in each set was enough for a comfortable win. Fabian hopes for a solid result to reach the top 50 in the rankings. Last year in Doha, Marozsan lost in the second round against Khachanov in straight sets.
Jiri Lehecka has won three of his last five matches. The last match he played before the ATP Doha was in Rotterdam two weeks ago. He retired in the 1/8-Finals against Hurkacz mid-match. However, this week in Doha, Lehecka looked fully fit on the court. He defeated Dimitrov in the opening round, winning in straight sets. Lehecka offered and saved two breakpoints. He broke Dimitrov’s serve once in each set, enough for a comfortable win.
Best Bet to Make
According to the bookies, Lehecka is the favorite in this matchup, and we agree. Jiri is one of the most consistent players on the tour right now. If he keeps playing like this, he will soon become a top-20 player. He dominated the opening round against Dimitrov, and we expect a similar performance tomorrow.
That being said, Lehecka winning in straight sets is a value bet.

Auger-Aliassime – Medjedovic: 19.02.2025 15:30 CEST
H2H: first meeting
Felix Auger-Aliassime has won four of his last five matches. A few weeks ago, Felix won the title in Montpellier, winning against Kovacevic in the final. The last match he played was in Rotterdam. Felix retired mid-match against Vavassori in the opening round due to a toe injury. At the beginning of the season, Felix won the title in Adelaide, winning against Korda in the final. It is his second appearance in Doha. Today, Felix outlasted Halys in three tight sets in the opening round. Felix reached the semifinals in his debut campaign, losing against Medvedev in straight sets.
Hamad Medjedovic has won four of his last five matches. Last week in Marseille, Hamad finished as a runner-up, losing against Humbert in the final in straight sets. Today in Doha, Medjedovic continued his great form. He defeated Tsitsipas in the opening round in three tight sets. Stefanos fumbled under pressure, and Medjedovic, on the other hand, performed well.
Best Bet to Make
According to the bookies, Medjedovic is the underdog in this matchup, but we disagree. He has been phenomenal for the last couple of weeks. On the other hand, Felix struggled in the opening round match against Halys today. Hamad is a dangerous player and will be confident coming into this match. We expect a tight match that could go either way.
That being said, Medjedovic covering the games handicap is a value bet.
