In the final qualifying round, Vavassori defeated Blancaneaux in straight sets yesterday. It is his first appearance in Rotterdam.
Felix Auger-Aliassime has won four straight matches. Last week in Montpellier, Felix won the title, losing only one set throughout the tournament. In the final match, Auger won against Kovacevic in three tight sets. At the beginning of the season, the young Canadian also won the title in Adelaide. He won two titles this season and is among the most consistent players. It is his seventh appearance in Rotterdam. He finished as a runner-up in 2020 and won the title in 2022, winning against Tsitsipas in the final. Last year, Felix lost against Rublev in the second round.

According to the bookies, Felix is the big favorite in this matchup, but we partially disagree. We believe that Felix will win this match, but we expect Andrea to keep it tight. He is a heavy server, and under these conditions, he will hold his service games easily. We expect Felix to win in tight sets.

He has never made it past the first round. Last year, he lost in straight sets against Dimitrov in the opening round.
Holger Rune has won three of his last five matches. Two weeks ago in Melbourne, Holger reached the 1/8-Finals of the Australian Open, losing against Sinner in four sets. Last week, Rune played for Denmark against Serbia in the Davis Cup. He lost against Medjedovic in the opening match but won against Kecmanovic in the second match and helped Denmark win against Serbia 3-2. It is his third appearance in Rotterdam. He has never made it past the second round. Last year, Rune lost in the second round against Shevchenko in three tight sets.
Best Bet to Make
According to the bookies, Rune is the favorite in this matchup, but we disagree. Sonego played well in Australia two weeks ago. He has a solid serve, and we expect him to be dangerous under these conditions. Both players have never had any success in Rotterdam, and we expect this match to be very tight.
That being said, Sonego covering the games handicap is a value bet.
