Carlos Alcaraz has confirmed he will return to the Queen’s Club Championships in 2025 as part of his preparations for Wimbledon where he will be aiming for a third seconsecutve title. The world #3 made the announcement, signaling his intent to continue his strong grasscourt campaign. Having won Wimbledon in both 2023 and 2024, Alcaraz will aim to follow in the footsteps of legends like Novak Djokovic, Roger Federer, and Bjorn Borg by completing a prestigious hat-trick at the All England Club. His proposed return to Queen’s Club, where he lifted the title in 2023, will likely vital to his build-up to the grass-court season.

“I can’t wait to get back on the grass at The Queen’s Club next summer,” said Alcaraz in a statement. “Lifting the title two years ago is what gave me the belief to go on and win Wimbledon for the first time, so it always means a lot to compete there. I’m ready to come back again in 2025 and give it my all to try and win another trophy. I want to join amazing players like [Andy] Murray, [Feliciano] Lopez, [Andy] Roddick, etc., in winning this title multiple times and I’m confident that I can achieve that. I love playing in front of the fans in London, the LTA puts on a great event, and I hope I can have another successful summer in the UK.”

Alcaraz’s history at Queen’s makes his return highly anticipated. He won the prestigious ATP 500 tournament in 2023, defeating Alex de Minaur in the final. This victory was pivotal in his preparation for Wimbledon, where he claimed his first Grand Slam title. The Spaniard will be looking to repeat that success in 2025, aiming for his second title at the Queen’s Club and his third Wimbledon crown.

Alcaraz’s 2024 Grass Court Campaign and 2025 Plans

In 2024, Alcaraz’s journey at Queen’s was cut short after a surprising second-round loss to Britain’s Jack Draper. Despite the early exit, the four-time Grand Slam champion won Wimbledon for the second consecutive year, cementing his place as one of the game’s brightest stars. The Spaniard finished 2024 ranked world No. 3 with a remarkable 53-13 win-loss record and four singles titles, including both the French Open and Wimbledon. His success has made him one of the favorites for the 2025 grass court season.

Tbe 21-year-old will make his third consecutive appearance the Queen’s Club Championships, with the tournament set to take place from June 16-22, 2025. The event will be particularly special as the WTA tour returns to Queen’s for the first time in over 50 years, from June 9-15.
