ATP Kitzbuhel Day 2 Predictions
Adolfo Daniel Vallejo vs Kilian Feldbausch
Head-to-Head: Feldbausch 1-0 Daniel Vallejo
Both of these young players have spent much of the season building confidence on the Challenger Tour, making this an intriguing clash between two rising talents. Vallejo has continued to make steady progress on clay, where his heavy forehand and willingness to construct points patiently have produced some encouraging results. Feldbausch possesses plenty of power off both wings and is capable of shortening rallies, but his level has fluctuated throughout the season against stronger opposition.
The conditions in Kitzbuehel should suit Vallejo’s willingness to stay in longer exchanges until the right opening appears. Feldbausch will have opportunities if he serves well and keeps the points short, but Vallejo has generally looked more comfortable on clay this year and has shown greater consistency in these types of matches.

Juan Manuel Cerundolo vs Marco Trungelliti
Head-to-Head: First meeting
This all-Argentine contest should feature plenty of long rallies and clever point construction. Cerundolo has quietly pieced together another solid clay season, using his trademark left-handed spin and excellent court coverage to frustrate opponents. He has also produced some impressive wins during the European clay swing, reminding everyone how dangerous he can be on this surface.
Trungelliti remains a difficult opponent because of his experience and competitive spirit. He rarely gives away cheap points and knows exactly how to work his way through clay-court exchanges. However, Cerundolo has won both of their previous meetings and generally matches up well against his fellow Argentine. His ability to create angles with his forehand and pull opponents off the court gives him a slight tactical advantage.

Daniel Altmaier vs Raphael Collignon
Head-to-Head: First meeting
This has the ingredients to be one of the closest matches of the day. Altmaier has enjoyed another respectable clay campaign, picking up notable victories through his aggressive baseline play and heavy topspin forehand. He is particularly comfortable at altitude, where his forehand can become an even bigger weapon, and he has plenty of experience navigating ATP-level clay events.
Collignon has continued his impressive rise this season and has shown that his game is translating well from the Challenger circuit to the main tour. The Belgian strikes the ball cleanly, moves well, and has looked increasingly confident against higher-ranked opponents. Even so, this represents another step up in both experience and conditions.
Altmaier’s familiarity with these courts and his proven ability to raise his level on clay should make the difference if the match becomes physical. Collignon is capable of pushing this deep into a deciding set, but Altmaier’s heavier groundstrokes and greater experience in these moments give him the edge.

Sebastian Baez vs Miomir Kecmanovic

This is arguably the standout match of the day between two players who enjoy very different styles. Baez has once again been one of the tour’s strongest clay-court performers, with his relentless movement, consistency, and ability to turn defense into attack serving as major assets. However, he has historically struggled against Kecmanovic.
Kecmanovic, while more comfortable on hard courts, has proven he can compete effectively on clay when his timing is right. His flatter groundstrokes are particularly effective in the quicker conditions at altitude, and his perfect record in this matchup demonstrates strong tactical and mental advantages. He has the tools to disrupt Baez’s rhythm and capitalize on any dips in consistency.
While Baez’s endurance and baseline game make him dangerous, Kecmanovic’s head-to-head dominance and ability to execute in key moments give him the edge here. He should be able to keep enough points short and use his experience to control the flow.
