The WTA French Open tennis finishes the third round of the tournament on Saturday. Half of the Round of 16 has been filled out. Now the rest of the Round of 16 will be determined. The women’s tournament at Roland-Garros is intensely interesting because it feels so wide-open right now. The big names are still in the tournament, with the exception of Elena Rybakina, but there is no overwhelming favorite, at least not yet. So much seems possible, and that’s why these matches are so exciting. LWOS has our best bets for three matches on Saturday. Post your best bets and thoughts in the comments.
WTA French Open
Parry – Anisimova: Time 8:00 EST
H2H: 0-0
Diane Parry kicked off her clay season with four losses in a row during four straight tournaments, and then she went on to win the entire tournament at WTA Paris. For her part, Amanda Anisimova is only playing in her first clay tournament of the year. She’s only played three total sets on clay, too. Parry is by no means an easy opponent, but I am not sure she’s at the level of Anisimova just yet. If Parry can catch her unprepared, it’s definitely not impossible. I just don’t think it’s something that you’d call likely.
Best Bet to Make
Anisimova has yet to get going in 2026. At 13-6, she’s probably one of the more likely top-seeds to lose early. This is a perfect match to take a chance on, if you’re looking for an upset on the day. Even though you’d think I would be suggesting the upset, I’m going to stick with Anisimova winning 2:0 at 1.67 on 10Bet. Parry’s wins over Ann Li and Anhelini Kalinina look really impressive, but Anisimova represents a different class of warrior.
That being said, betting on Anisimova winning 2:0 is a value bet for sure.
Value bet/ the best odds: Anisimova winning 2:0 @1.67 @10Bet
Mboko – Keys: Time 9:00 EST
H2H: 1–0
The last and only time Victoria Mboko and Madison Keys met in play was earlier this year at WTA Adelaide in the quarterfinals. Mboko would win that match in a three-set war, with both ladies taking a set 6-4 before Mboko won the final set 6-2. Keys is definitely the better of the two on clay this year. She’s 10-3 with one final loss, while Mboko is 5-2 with one final loss, as well. Both ladies are 7-3 in their last ten games.

Best Bet to Make
While this match has fairly close odds, Mboko is the consensus favorite at 1.81-1.99, on average. The last loss for both women was in a final. Mboko lost to Emma Navarro in the final at WTA Strasbourg. Madison Keys lost to the aforementioned Diane Parry at WTA Paris. Can Keys make it two-in-a-row in France?
That being said, betting on over 2.5 sets is a value bet for sure.
Value bet/ the best odds: over 2.5 sets @2.38 @Unibet
Gauff – Potapova: Time 10:00 EST
H2H: 2–2
While the aforementioned match is the match to watch tomorrow, Coco Gauff vs Anastasia Potapova will not be far behind. This meeting between two of the WTA’s top-30 players in the World is their first since WTA Stuttgart in 2023. While Gauff won the first two matches between these two, it’s been Potapova who has enjoyed the victory in their last two meetings. That includes their only meeting on clay so far.
Best Bet to Make
Both of these women have a clay final loss in 2026, and both have solid showings in other clay tournaments this year. Gauff was the winner here last year and the semifinalist the year before. Potapova has never gone past the round of 16 at Roland-Garros. While Potapova is 16-4 on clay to Gauff’s 10-3 record, it’s the American who is the favorite by over 2.5 points. I like Gauff winning this in straight sets.
That being said, betting on Gauff winning 2:0 is a value bet for sure.
