Hello, readers. It’s Kane back from vacation and returning to my normal beat. I hope you’ve been enjoying Matt’s coverage on the men’s side. I also hope you’ve been enjoying the World Cup. How about that Spain victory over Argentina? Getting back to tennis, I can promise you plenty of women’s coverage starting tomorrow. We’re starting with WTA Prague Open. I wanted to get something up for Monday, so I chose the three most interesting matches for my best bets. There’s a lot to play for in Prague. Let’s look at three matches on the Monday card.
WTA Prague Open
Parks – Havlickova: Time 8:00 EST
H2H: 0-0
You might be wondering why Alycia Parks vs Lucie Havlickova was interesting to me, given that both competitors are a combined 8-12 in 2026. Within the question lies the answer. One of these women has to have a good day in the Prague Open. Parks is 4-6 in her last ten, and she’s 9-9 on a hardcourt this year. Havlickova is also 4-6 in her last ten, but not only is she playing at the ITF level, but she’s also 1-3 on a hardcourt. At just 22-22, Parks is not playing like the No. 70 player in the World, and she hasn’t won a title since 2024.
Best Bet to Make
While Parks is not having a good year, she’s still the odds-on favorite to win the match at the Prague Open. The average odds currently sit at 1.52 to 2.51 in favor of Parks. The easiest way to make money off of Parks is taking her to win 2:0 on 1xBet. You can currently get Parks winning 2:0 at 2.26, and that’s a full point better than taking her straight up. The only way to do better than this is to take a chance on bets much less likely to pay out. I generally try to get the bettor at least their money back, but you can do much better than that here.
That being said, betting on Parks winning 2:0 is a value bet for sure.
Value bet/ the best odds: Parks winning 2:0 @2.26 @1xBet
Ruzic – Salkova: Time 9:30 EST
H2H: 3-1
Antonia Ruzic will take on Dominika Salkova in our second featured match at the Prague Open. Ruzic has a nice history against Salkova. Every match they’ve played before tomorrow’s was in the quarterfinal or later. While Ruzic is 3-1 against Salkova, it’s Czech that has their only final matchup win. That was when Salkova beat Ruzic for the ITF Osijek title in 2022. This is also their first match on a hardcourt, as all others were indoor or on clay. Can Ruzic avoid the upset?

Best Bet to Make
The books have Ruzic as the favorite here at the Prague Open. Not only is Ruzic 3-1 against this opponent, but she’s also 8-8 on a hardcourt and 5-5 in her last ten matches overall. While Ruzic is the favorite to win, she cannot afford to be complacent. Salkova tends to give Ruzic all she can handle, and then some. In fact, one might even argue that Salkova has been tipping the matches back in her favor, even though she has yet to win again. Every match she’s played against Ruzic has pushed her further and further into the match. I’d take Ruzic straight up, but I won’t be shocked if Salkova wins this match.
That being said, betting on Ruzic winning is a value bet for sure.
Value bet/ the best odds: Ruzic winning @1.70 @Betway
Bouzkova – Bouzas-Maneiro: Time 6:30 EST
H2H: 0-0
Our final match to cover at the WTA Prague Open is Marie Bouzkova vs Jessica Bouzas-Maneiro. Bouzkova has been on an absolute tear lately. She’s 8-2 in her last ten matches with a tournament victory at Nottingham and a round of 16 showing at Wimbledon. Maneiro has only made two quarterfinals and a semifinal in 2026. Her record is going the wrong way in 2026, and she’s currently five games under .500 at 15-20 overall. If she doesn’t turn it around soon, this year is going to pass her by and see her drop further in the rankings.
Best Bet to Make
There’s a reason that Bouzkova is the overwhelming favorite in this match. She’s the No. 1 seed in the WTA Prague Open, 8-2 in her last ten, and she has two titles this year. Bouzkova wins when she should, and doesn’t always lose when she should. I just think that Maneiro has too many problems she has to work out before she’s a legitimate threat to the higher-ranked Bouzkova. I think Bouzkova winning 2:0 at 1.95 is a perfectly good bet.
That being said, betting on Bouzkova winning 2:0 is a value bet for sure.
Value bet/ the best odds: Bouzkova winning 2:0 @1.95 @1xBet
