ATP Rome Best Bets Including Jannik Sinner vs Andrey Rublev

The ATP Masters 1000 Rome quarterfinals on May 14 feature two players in dominant form looking to continue their impressive runs. Jannik Sinner remains virtually untouchable after extending his winning streak to twenty-six matches and appears well-positioned against Andrey Rublev. At the same time, Daniil Medvedev’s experience and consistency could prove decisive against rising Spaniard Martin Landaluce despite the youngster’s strong week in Rome.

Sinner – Rublev: 14.05.2026 13:00 CEST
H2H: 7-3

Jannik Sinner has won twenty-six consecutive matches. Last week in Madrid, Sinner won the title, defeating Zverev in the final in straight sets. This week in Rome, Sinner defeated Ofner in the opening match in straight sets. He offered no breakpoints. In the third round, the Italian demolished Popyrin in just over an hour. He offered and saved only one breakpoint and lost two games altogether. In the 1/8-Finals, Sinner defeated Pellegrino in straight sets, saving and offering only one breakpoint.

Andrey Rublev has won three of his last five matches. This week in Rome, Rublev defeated Kecmanovic in the opening match in straight sets. In the third round, the Russian defeated Davidovich Fokina in straight sets. His toughest challenge came in the 1/8-Finals against Basilashvili when he turned the match around after losing the opening set 3-6. Last season in Rome, Rublev lost to Marozsan in the second round.

Best Bet to Make

According to the bookies, Sinner is the clear favourite in this matchup, and we agree. He is in great form and defeated Rublev in Paris last season under similar conditions. We expect him to dominate once again and win easily.

That being said, Sinner covering the games handicap is a value bet.

Landaluce – Medvedev: 14.05.2026 19:00 CEST

Martin Landaluce has won four of his last five matches. This week in Rome, the Spaniard defeated Cilic and Bellucci in the opening rounds in straight sets. In the 1/8-Finals, Landaluce upset Medjedovic in straight sets. He trailed 1-3 in the second set, but turned it around.

Daniil Medvedev has won four of his last five matches. This week in Rome, Machac withdrew from the opening match against Medvedev. In the third round, Medvedev defeated Llamas Ruiz in three sets, after losing the opening set 3-6. He was a better player under pressure in the deciding set. In the 1/8-Finals, the Russian defeated Tirante in straight sets. Besides losing his serve at the beginning of the match, Medvedev served well throughout the match.

Best Bet to Make

According to the bookies, Medvedev is the favourite in this matchup, and we agree. He played well this week in Rome and has more experience than Landaluce at the Masters 1000 level. We expect him to dominate on his serve and win comfortably.
