Rybakina – Swiatek: Time 16:30

H2H: 6-7

Elena Rybakina and Iga Swiatek have an extremely robust rivalry, especially since Rybakina was leading 5-2 before 2025 began. Swiatek has since overtaken Rybakina 7-6 in their head-to-head meetings. They split their last two meetings, but Rybakina took their 2023 round-of-16 match right here in Australia. Swiatek repaid the favor in the same round of the 2025 French Open, but needed three sets to accomplish that. One thing to take note of is that Swiatek is 5-2 in their matches on a hardcourt.

Best Bet to Make

Swiatek is the underdog in this match by about .25 points. I don’t agree with this, and it’s because Swiatek tends to dominate when the match is on a hardcourt. In fact, after winning their first two hardcourt matches, Rybakina hasn’t won a single one since, and her last victory came in 2023. Those victories include a final at WTA Doha in 2024, a quarterfinal at the same event in 2025, and a semifinal a couple of weeks later at WTA Cincinnati. I think Swiatek straight up for 2.1 on Pinnacle is the way to go here. If you’re feeling really froggy, Swiatek 2:0 at 3.4 on Bet365 should be a consideration. None of their hardcourt matches have gone to a third set.

That being said, Swiatek winning is a value bet for sure.

Pegula – Anisimova: Time 16:30

H2H: 4-1

Jessica Pegula vs Amanda Anisimova is our featured match. These two ladies have met five times in their careers, with Pegula winning four of those. Anisimova’s one win came in their last match at the 2025 Miami Invitational. Though Pegula’s record against Anisimova suggests she doesn’t struggle against her, it couldn’t be further from the truth. Three of their five matches have gone to a third set, and two of those went to a tiebreak. Pegula enters the match at 7-1 in 2026, and Anisimova is 5-1.

Best Bet to Make

Despite being 4-1 against Anisimova, Pegula will be the underdog in their match. Anisimova is about a .3-point favorite on most books. Pegula is 8-2 in her last ten matches, with a win and a loss to Anisimova during that stretch. Anisimova is 7-3 with a win and a loss to Pegula in her last ten. I think Pegula is the smarter play here. She’s had a harder road, and Anisimova has a history of choking in important matches at a Major.

That being said,  Pegula winning is a value bet for sure.
