9 Tennis Players Retire in November 2025

7. Barbara Haas

In an eight-worded Instagram post, Barbara Haas made her message clear. The former WTA World No. 133 never played an official match in over two years and has now formally retired. Haas, 29, won 16 ITF titles in singles and earned just under $1 million in career prize money.

8. Andrea Gamiz

Venezuelan WTA player Andrea Gamiz officially retired on her 33rd birthday after losing in the semifinals of the Cali 125K doubles tournament. She won a combined 51 titles in singles and doubles on the ITF circuit and earned over $300,000 in career prize money.

9. Dennis Novak

Austrian ATP player Dennis Novak announced his retirement at the age of 32, seemingly content with his career. Novak attained a career-best ranking of No. 85 in singles. He won three ATP Challenger titles and played in the main draw of every Grand Slam tournament. Novak earned $2 million in career prize money.
