ATP Cincinnati Day 4 Predictions Including Carlos Alcaraz vs Damir Dzumhur

It is an action packed day at the ATP Cincinnati Masters 2025 edition. The lead up to the US Open is in full flow with top players returning to the fray after Wimbledon making this week a jam packed draw. As ever, we preview and predict all scheduled matches for you.

ATP Cincinnati Day 4 Predictions

Jiri Lehecka vs Tristan Boyer

Head-to-head – First meeting

Jiri Lehecka arrives in Cincinnati on the back of decent results this year. Tristan Boyer, while impressive in parts of the tour, lacks Lehecka’s consistency. Boyer looked good in his first round but expect Lehecka’s aggressive baseline play and confidence to dominate.

Prediction: Lehecka in 2

Jakub Mensik vs Ethan Quinn

Head-to-head – Mensik 1-0 Quinn

Both players bring significant momentum into this encounter. In their only previous showdown, Jakub Mensik edged out Ethan Quinn 7-6(4), 6-1 in Madrid, showcasing his composure in the big moments and ability to seize control after a tight opener. Expect another tight opening set, with Quinn’s firepower on serves and groundstrokes pushing Mensik around but the Czech’s superior baseline game and should carry him through once again.

Prediction: Mensik in 2

Andrey Rublev vs Learner Tien

Head-to-head – Rublev 0-1 Tien

Andrey Rublev comes into Cincinnati on the back of a quarterfinal run in Toronto, where his forehand was firing and more consistent. Learner Tien continues to impress with his composure and movement, earning his spot here with some gritty performances and a win over Rublev in Washington. While Tien’s quick footwork could help him hang in the rallies, Rublev’s power from the baseline should suffice in equalling their head to head.

Prediction: Rublev in 3

Carlos Alcaraz vs Damir Dzumhur

Head-to-head – Alcaraz 1-0 Dzumhur

Their only previous main tour-level meeting came at Roland Garros earlier this year, where Carlos Alcaraz advanced in four sets. Damir Dzumhur’s ability to sneak a set off the Spaniard there shows he can trouble him in patches, particularly with his defense. Still, on the quicker hard courts of Cincinnati and with Alcaraz’s aggressive baseline game in full flight, the world No. 2 should take control when it matters most.

Prediction: Alcaraz in 2
