Iga Swiatek in Australian Open action.

WTA Wimbledon Best Bets Including Iga Swiatek vs Liudmila Samsonova

The action at the WTA Wimbledon has now reached the quarterfinals. Here are my picks for those matches. Tell me if you agree with my best bets in the comment section. Due to the lack of options straight up, many of these are prop bets. If you want to see more prop bets and fewer straight bets, let us know in the comments for the semifinals.

WTA Wimbledon Open Quarterfinals

Anisimova – Pavlyuchenkova: Time 16:00

H2H: 3-0

Amanda Anisimova has never had an issue beating Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova in their prior three matches. While the last one did go to three sets, Anisimova was in charge the majority of the match. Anisimova already has one tournament victory on the year, and she also has a previous quarterfinal appearance to lean on in preparation for this match. Pavlyuchenkova is no slouch, and she made the semifinals in Eastbourne right before Wimbledon, so she’s playing as well entering the match. She also has a prior quarterfinal appearance at Wimbledon to use in prep. Hopefully, the recent injury is well behind her, and she’s able to make her first semifinal at Wimbledon.

Best Bet to Make

There are a couple of different ways to approach betting on this match, and they come by way of total game count. In two of their three matches, Anisimova and Pavlyuchenkova have gone over 21.5 games for the entire match. It just so happens that whether you feel like this match will go over or under, there are outstanding opportunities to cash in on those beliefs. 1xBet is offering over 21.5 at 1.91 and under that total at 2.00 overall. You’re doubling your money either way if the bet hits. I believe that this one will go over 21.5, but not by very much.

That being said, Over 21.5 Games is a value bet for sure.

Value bet/ the best odds: Over 21.5 Games @1.91 @1xBet

Andreeva – Bencic: Time 12:00

H2H: 0-0

Mirra Andreeva is having a fantastic year in 2025, and she’s done fairly well across the board. That said, her match with Belinda Bencic is Andreeva’s second opportunity on the year to make the semifinals at a Major. She came up short against Lois Boisson in France. For her part, Bencic has eight prior appearances at Wimbledon, but this is the furthest she’s ever gone in the tournament. She has a tournament victory already this year in Abu Dhabi, which put her smack dab in the middle of the run Andreeva had at the same time, winning Dubai and Indian Wells right after Abu Dhabi.

Best Bet to Make

The offerings for this match in the over/under category are practically the same as our previous match in this column, but I’m going to go in a different direction. Should you not like my pick of the correct score, you can find similar odds on the over/under of 21.5 games overall. I think Andreeva is going to make fairly short work of Bencic in this match, and I’m taking her 2 sets to nil at 2.00 on Bet365. Over/under is just as much of a gamble as correct score, but the odds are ever so slightly better. The way Andreeva is playing in 2025 is a notch above Bencic.

That being said, Andreeva winning is a value bet for sure.

Value bet/ the best odds: Andreeva winning 2:0 @2.0 @Bet365

Swiatek – Samsonova: Time 11:00

H2H: 4-0

Apart from their initial match in 2022, Iga Swiatek has never had much of a problem beating Liudmila Samsonova. She even has a win over Samsonova at a Major, as she beat her at the 2024 U.S. Open in the round of 16. This is the second time Swiatek has reached the quarterfinals at Wimbledon. Last time she fell in three sets to Elina Svitolina in the quarterfinals. Svitolina was a 6-1 underdog in this match. Samsonova is only a 3-1 underdog in this match, so we’re not looking at a massive upset, should it happen.

Best Bet to Make

Samsonova is currently playing some incredible tennis. In her last five tournaments, she’s made at least the round of 16 in four of them. She’s made the semifinals in two of them. That said, Swiatek is playing even better. Of her last five tournaments, she’s made the semifinals in at least three of them, and she’s made at least the third round in all of them. She’s made six semifinals this year, and it’s just a matter of time before she breaks through at a major. I like Swiatek in straight sets.

That being said, Swiatek winning 2:0 is a value bet for sure.
