WTA French Open quarterfinals
Keys – Gauff: 04.06.2025 11:00 CEST
H2H: 3-2
Madison Keys has won four of her last five matches. This week in Paris, Keys lost only one set en route to the quarterfinals. Her toughest challenge came in the third round against another American, Sofia Kenin. Keys lost the opening set 4-6, trailed in the third set 0-3, saved three match points, but turned the match around. Yesterday, in the 1/8-Finals, she defeated Baptiste in straight sets. Keys trailed 1-3 in the second set but once again handled it well.
Coco Gauff has won four of her last five matches. She is one of the biggest favourites to win this week’s title in Paris. En route to the 1/8-Finals, Gauff defeated Gadecki, Valentova and Bouzkova in straight sets. Yesterday, in the 1/8-Finals, she won against Alexandrova in straight sets. Gauff was great under pressure, saving eight out of nine breakpoints. Last season at the French Open, Gauff lost against Swiatek in the semifinals. Her biggest result was in 2022 when she lost to Swiatek in the final.
Best Bet to Make
According to the bookies, Gauff is the favourite in this matchup, and we agree. She has not lost a single set this week in Paris. We expect her to be a better player tomorrow and win easily.
That being said, Gauff covering the games handicap is a value bet.

Andreeva – Boisson: 04.06.2025 12:30 CEST
H2H: first meeting
Mirra Andreeva has won four of her last five matches. The young Russian has not lost a single set this week in Paris. En route to the 1/8-Finals, Andreeva defeated Bucsa, Krueger and Putintseva in straight sets. Yesterday, in the 1/8-Finals, she also won against Kasatkina in straight sets. Andreeva trailed 3-5 in the second set and saved one set point but turned it around. This has been a solid clay-court season for her, reaching the quarterfinals in Madrid and Rome.
Lois Boisson has won nine straight matches. Before the WTA French Open, Boisson played at the ITF tournament in France, winning the title. This week in Paris, Boisson has been granted a wild card. En route to the 1/8-Finals, she defeated Mertens, Kalinina and Jacquemot. Yesterday in the 1/8-Finals, Boisson secured her biggest career win, upsetting Pegula in three tight sets. After losing the opening set 3-6, Boisonn turned the match around after spending almost three hours on the court. She was great under pressure in the deciding set, saving five out of six breakpoints.
Best Bet to Make
According to the bookies, Andreeva is the favourite in this matchup, and we agree. Even though she is only 18, Andreeva loves to play at the Grand Slam level. She dominated this week and is a better player overall than Boisson, who did her maximum, reaching the quarterfinals. We expect Andreeva to be a better player tomorrow and dominate.
That being said, Andreeva covering the games handicap is a value bet.
