Alexander Zverev and Alexandre Muller will face off in the opening round of the 2025 ATP Munich Open, marking their second career meeting. Zverev won their previous encounter in straight sets at the 2024 US Open. Muller has shown promising form this season, including a title win in Hong Kong and a runner-up finish in Rio, demonstrating his capability on clay. However, Zverev, a two-time Munich champion, will have the advantage of playing on home soil and brings significant experience on clay courts. Griekspoor’s experience should give him the edge, though Tien’s upside makes this a matchup to watch.
