Nicolas Jarry vs Christopher O’Connell
Head-to-head: O’Connell 1-0 Jarry
After his amazing run to the final in Rome last year, Jarry has been in free fall, struggling to win matches at all. The clay season is his last opportunity to get some momentum going before potentially falling out of the top 100 and he should be very motivated here. O’Connell is solid, but on clay Jarry definitely has the superior weapons and should win if he plays to his potential.

Damir Dzumhur vs Filip Cristian Jianu
Head-to-head: Dzumhur 2-0 Jianu
Dzumhur is having a nice ressurgence as of late and, on paper at least, he got a very kind draw here against a home player. Jianu scored a good win in the first round, but this should be as far as he goes here.
