Arthur Cazaux has lost three of his last five matches. Two weeks ago in Melbourne, Arthur reached the second round of the Australian Open, losing against Fearnley in four sets as we predicted. At the beginning of the season, Cazaux played in Brisbane and Adelaide, where he had no success. Last year in Montpellier, Arthur reached the second round, losing against Auger-Aliassime in three tight sets. This is his third appearance in Montpellier. He has never made it past the second round.
Best Bet to Make
According to the bookies, Cazaux is the slight favorite in this matchup, and we agree. We believe that Arthur is currently a better hard-court player than Wawrinka. Stanislas is past his prime. He turns 40 this year, and you can see a drop in his form. Cazaux is in bad form right now, but we believe that with the help of the crowd, he will play his best tennis tomorrow and win against Wawrinka.
