Miomir had two match points in the deciding tiebreak and even had a chance to close out the match in the second set when he was 6-5 up and served for the match. Last year in Adelaide, Kecmanovic lost against Draper in the 1/8-Finals in three tight sets. This will also be his third appearance in the tournament, and he has never made it past the second round.
