Rune is looking to regain his form and confidence. He is still a top 20 player, but if he keeps playing like this, he might drop out of the top 20 soon enough.

According to the bookies, Fils is the underdog in this matchup. Holger has played two great matches so far in the tournament, and has shown great tennis. We believe that he will go deep this week. Their only head-to-head meeting was last year in Rome on clay, where Rune dominated the whole match and won in straight sets.
That being said, Rune winning is a value bet.

Alexander was 2-0 up, but lost the match in the end. Here in Hamburg, Alexander defeated de Jong in the first round in straight sets. After that, in the second round, Alex lost the first set against Gaston, but managed to keep his composure and come back. Last year in Hamburg, Zverev won the title without losing a set.
Zhizhen Zhang has won three of his last five matches. Two weeks ago at Wimbledon, Zhang lost against Struff in the second round. Here in Hamburg, Zhang defeated Seyboth Wild in straight sets in the first round of the tournament as we predicted. In the second round, Zhang won against Cobolli in straight sets as we predicted. Zhang is looking to break into the top 30 in the rankings. Last year in Hamburg, Zhang reached the semifinals where he lost against Laslo Djere in straight sets.
Best Bet to Make
According to the bookies, Zverev is the favorite in this matchup. Zhang has shown great tennis so far in the tournament. On the other hand, Zverev looked mentally exhausted in his second round match. We believe that Zhizhen will keep this match tight.
That being said, Zhang winning at least one set is a value bet.
